Precognition

Precognition refers to the ability to foresee future events or to have knowledge of something in advance, before it actually occurs. It is a form of extra-sensory perception (ESP) and is often associated with precognitive dreams, clairvoyance and claircognizance. Note that precognition relates to knowledge or insight and therefore differs from premonition or presentiment, which refers to feeling (emotion, clairempathy) or sensing (intuition, clairsentience) .
