"AO, I think I misunderstood your reply earlier. Are you saying that hope allows people to cope with trying times?"
Yes, but I also mean that false hope can be used to fool people into accepting trying times as well, without doing anything about it since their hope tells them there will not always be this way, which of course it will since it's their ACTION the world needs, not their BELIEF. Hope can stop change from occurring anywhere and I am beginning to suspect that many Lightworker Communities are nothing but graveyards for physical initiative. ;)
Unfortunely, No Hope usually stagnate an evolution alltogether so this particular equation is an equation I can't solve. :)
Yes indeed Peekay....How many years have we been "led into the future, when all the so called promises are going to occur. I think it is important to live in today and make it the best today you can have. Always looking for the future and trying to figure out what is going to happen and assuming that tomorrow or the future is going to be better, may kind of make one stagnant in the today...My motto is live each day with meaning and make today the best day it can be. I stopped worrying about promises in the future and concentrate on today. The future is not written in stone and the things that one does "today" is what shapes the future. People come complacent and stop "doing" while they are "waiting". I also agree with Acute Observer that people can easily be manipulated by hopeful promises as well, and can be lead down the garden path so to speak.
Hope can be used to get people to conform with the most awful conditions of the world. ;)
