Vajrapradama Mudra
Typically translated as the Mudra of Unshakable Self Confidence and Trust, this hand gesture evokes so much more. Or, at least, not what we usually understand as self confidence. It also shows great inner strength. In vajrapradama mudra, the hands are held close to the chest with the palms facing inwards. This gesture is sometimes represented with fingers of both the hands overlapping each other or sometimes entwined with each other.
We experience times when we think we can deal with whatever comes our way; and there are times when we doubt ourselves, we feel insecure and think ourselves not capable of handling anything that happens, we notice how important inner strength is for our self-confidence. When we are weakened, no matter on what level (physical, mental, emotional), then insecurity sneaks in.
Use this mudra for:
-Confidence
-Self trust, trust in others
-Letting go of self-doubt
-Personal Power, inner strength
-Connection with Self and others
Interlace the fingers or hold the palms in front of the heart. Close your eyes and feel the rhythm of your heart against your palms. Feel your connection with Divine energy.
The first words that come to mind when looking at this beautiful Buddha gesture are: "I come with peace because I am peace".
