The Universe & You!!!
No matter what horrific things that have happened in your past, the Universe is not judging you, condemning you. The Universe loves you exactly the way you are.
Whether you know it or not, you are being loved right now.
The Universe doesn't see your "flaws". These imperfections and problems are only created by your imagination. The things which you consider unacceptable or unlovable about you, are simply judgmental thoughts from the mind, and they don't actually exist anywhere.
Perhaps there might be a little voice inside you with questions like, "Why does the Universe love me? What's sooo special about me?
Well, just like the Sun continues to shine giving everyone life here on Earth, the same goes for this spiritual love... it's always available!!!!!!!!!!.
However, even though it is showering tons of love upon you,
you may not ever feel it if you're not open and willing to feel.
For you to FEEL this love all depends on your ability to open up your heart, to be vulnerable and drop your doubt, fear and resistance to love. This is the only way you can truly relax into receiving this divine love.
This love comes effortlessly through letting go and surrendering to the ease and joy of trusting its here now! This trust instantly shifts your vibration and you become an amazing receptor for the greatest divine love from the Universe.
If you still don't believe that the Universe loves you, look at everything you've manifested around you. For years the Universe has been providing you with everything you need to remain alive. It's given you all the food, shelter, air, water and keeps your heart pumping for you 24 hours a day!
Trust that life is flowing through you and this is love. So you can let go and trust that the Universe is here, keeping you alive, safe, warm, and even cozy if you let it. Yes! You can allow yourself to FEEL this great warmth and support inside. This allows this conscious intelligent Universe to assist you even more, in whatever way you need it...just ask!
try thinking of yourself as a radio tower that broadcasts and receives messages for the living Universe. What are the messages you're sending out? What are the messages you're receiving? Look for the direct correlation between the two.
When you're practicing being appreciating, accepting, and approving of yourself just as you are, you're opening up the receptors in your heart and brain to receive back that same loving signal from a different source.
The more we become a connoisseur of this love, the more sensitive we become and can sense this love pouring into us from anyone and anything. When you let go of trying to fix yourself, and realize just how sweet, innocent and lovable you truly are, then the Universe has no choice yet to send you loving people, experiences and messages to you. This is when life becomes a constant state of bliss! You become a "love magnet" for loving experience when you are in accepting yourself with loving appreciation all day long.
Self acceptance is the greatest thing you can do to grow very quickly in consciousness and love. It will transform you in more ways than you know. There is so much love available to you right now. Just slow down and be open to it. This is the only way you can receive it fully. With slowing down into a state of constant self acceptance, you will make it through this spiritual birth canal and truly enjoy the ride!

WE are the Universe...the Universe is US. The illusion lies in the WE and US as there is only I. All we need to do is love our SELF.

Don't get me wrong here. I completely understand God loves me but...
Creator God is all things and all things are Creator God. I AM THAT, I AM.
There is no externalization. That is an illusion we've created for ourself and forgot we created. The greatest honor you can give God is to love your Self unconditionally. By doing this in the realization that all of creation is God including Self and there truly is no difference between our Self and a rock one must love all of existence the way one loves their Self. We are the creator and the created. I know it seems like a paradox in dimensional existence but it is only one of the many illusions we must overcome on our journey.
Analogy:
Think of God as a the electromagnetic spectrum. Each soul is a waveform. Some are a high frequency some are low yet all are part of the spectrum and a wave. The spectrum(God) does not single out any frequency as not a part. It's the waveform which finds itself different from the others by looking at frequency and failing to realize all are waves.

I agree that to love oneself is equal to respecting "god/universe/prime creator/all that is " also :)
because it is by honouring self, one can know god truly... because god is all that is, everywhere and present in the now moment, at all times ;)
Because God is the ultimate vibration (Love / Compassion / Kindness ) this is the vibration which aligns us to be in the consistent flow of abundance and good things despite whatever may happen in 3d, 4d or beyond ;)
Love is reliable, is solid, and yes im one of those, who knows it can move mountains ;)
In science we have the 1st Law of Thermodynamics. If it states that you can never have an increase or decrease of energy/matter, which means that matter/energy can not be created from nothingness, how did we get all the matter and energy in the universe? Therefore,science itself says there must be a God.... ;)
Plain and simple, matter/energy can not come into existence just like THAT ;)
