Happiness is a state of mind. We all know that. But when it comes to deciding whether another person is truly happy, our perceptions are colored by our own states of mind–in particular, by our value judgments. A person can have all the mental characteristics of a happy person, but if he or she is living what we consider a “bad life,” we are far less likely to judge that they are happy. Surprisingly, the same moral evaluations do not seem to enter into our concept of unhappiness.

Happiness is a state of being. It is when the mind take over, making too much noises
that people feel unhappiness.
joe joe,
i find happiness means different things for different people... some pple find it in fancy cars, and exotic lifestyles
others are content sitting on their veranda and drinking a cup of coffee...
and i found as we age our priorities for happiness is different...

i can / could never understand how money can buy love? and i mean true love? the kind which sticks with you forever and doesnt leave you heartbroken or lesser as a person...
money cant buy love, or health... yes it can pay for stuffs, but c'mon.... really is money so worth it we go around killing each other in war and proclaim ourselves as happy...

No money can not buy love star, and real love is worth more than all the gold and diamonds in the world.I know you have to show a person you love them.I know actions speak louder than words, but lf you can love yourself loving someone else would not be so difficult.
yes by loving oneself can only bring us into a state of being able to love others... makes sense :) :)
