God said:
My heart does flip-flops when I think of you, and I think of you all the time. At the same time (I speak of the myth of time), you arrest My heart. My heart stops beating as I look into your beautiful eyes. You, beloveds, in all your beauty and innocence, are a heart-stopper.
When all see as I do, when all love as I do, We will not be frozen statues, yet We will be still. We will live in the depth of Our hearts, and, in the depths, there is silence. We could say that in the depths, We have pulled on the arrow. And there We are, poised in life before the movie We are in starts, before the movie We are in becomes animated, before the Director says: "Lights! Camera. Action!"
We are poised. We are ready. We are full of energy. We are at the moment before animation where Stillness reigns.
We are the horses at the gate before We take off. There is a signal, perhaps a gun-shot, and off We go.
Here's what I want to tell you. As We race down the track, as We move so fast, We are still in Stillness, in an Immovable Stillness. The Stillness rides with Us. It never falls off.
You may get so eager in the heat of the race, you may be thinking ahead, so caught up in the race are you, so caught up in the race that Our Powerful Stillness is forgotten, and all you can think of is the race. It is one thing to speak of a race in life. It is another thing to think of Our total embrace in what is happening in life. Now I speak of you as though you were separate from Me, for never do I imagine even for one moment that I leave the Stillness.
But, you, My Divine Children, get so caught up in life, so caught up in disappointment, so caught up in tension, so caught up in developments, so caught up in pain and panic that you totally forget the resource of Silence within you, and, so, you punish yourself. You lose awareness of your Greater Self. I am calling this Silence your Greater Self. All you can think of is what you are thinking of. Your mind wrenches your heart and ties it in knots. You pant, you groan. Your mind is at the wheel of your heart, spins it wildly, fearing the worst.
What is the worst, beloveds? A loved one dies? And still there is Silence within you that you are ignoring. You have taken the path of fear, and you look neither left nor right. You allow yourself to become fear-ridden. You shatter yourself into fragments of yourself. In your words, you might say you die a thousand deaths. But you don't, of course. You do stab yourself in the heart.
It could be said that you are a self-mutilator. Nevertheless, the Self, the Silence of You, through it all, is not disturbed.
You moil a pot of upset, and the upset of a small incident can sometimes be as dreadful as the upset over something that you appoint as big.
Whatever life brings to you, whatever tragedy you see, whatever heartache, it is you who multiplies it. In that way, it is you who brings it to yourself. You stab yourself a dozen times.
When what you call a tragedy happens, you whip yourself for it. You take the hammer to yourself and hammer hard.
Beloveds, even when your worst fears are realized, you are to let yourself be and return to Silence. What else is there for you to do?
