thanks for trying to explain, although i must be feeling pretty "thick" this morning, because i'm still not sure i really "get" it.
ok, so here's the dissonance: i have a very angry, 15 year old, indigo child. he refuses to follow virtually ANY of society's conventions because they are "stupid, unfair, unnecessary." i get the anger, although it is very difuse and permeates all areas of his life but he refuses to do anything about it other than punch holes in my walls. he will be a wonderful light warrior one day, but until he realizes that nothing will change until he can focus that anger in a productive way, he will be like a shot gun shooting forth a spray of pellets that damage everything they come in contact with but accomplish very little - and i will be broke from repairing broken stuff. his decisions put him at risk physically and leave a lot of physical and emotional collateral damage (me, his father, his brother, etc).
preferred behavior: releasing his anger in productive ways. . volunteering, writing letters, making donations to charities, working within the system to change things rather than always standing on the outside of the system and just jousting with windmills.
time line? yesterday! but the end of the month would do.
