XXVIII:THE WHORE AND THE BEAST"And there came one of the seven Angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me. Saying unto me, Come hither, I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore (humanity) that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. "(Rev. 17: 1, 2)."And he carried me away in spirit into the wilderness and saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast (the great beast whose number is 666), full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns" (Rev. 17: 3.). The seven heads of the beast are the seven deadly sins and the ten horns that the beast will shoot up from the abyss and the abyss."And the woman (the great harlot) was arrayed in purple and scarlet (thus it is symbolized in the inner worlds), and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication "(Revelation 17: 4.)."And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH" (Rev. 17: 5.)."And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her I wondered with great admiration" (Rev. 17: 6.)."And the Angel said to me: Why do you wonder I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has seven heads and ten horns" (Rev. 17: 7.)."The beast that you saw was and is not, and shall ascend out of the abyss and to go into perdition: and the inhabitants of the earth whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, they behold the beast that was and is not, and yet is "(Revelation 17: 8.)."And here it is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth." (Revelation 17: 9.).The seven deadly sins: anger, greed, lust, envy, pride, laziness and gluttony, relate to the seven sub-planes or tenebrous regions of the abyss, those are the seven hills on which sits the great whore."And there are seven kings (the seven kings of Eden): five are fallen, one is, the other is not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short time." (Revelation 17: 10.).The five lower principles, soul mind, astral body, etheric and physical body, are fallen. Man is fallen. The sixth principle (soul-consciousness) or BUDDHI, never fall, and will rule in the sixth race.When the reign of the seventh principle comes, it will last a short time. Then there will be a divine race: the seventh. The seventh principle is the Intimate."And the beast that was and is not, he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition" (Rev. 17: 11.).The beast that was and is not, is also the eighth, is the shadow of the seven Sephiroth, is the abyss."And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but receive power as kings one hour with the beast" (Rev. 17: 12.).The ten horns of the tragic wheel will rise and fall, will rotate with the wheel of compensation, up from the abyss, imposed and rule as ten kings, to roll into the abyss when the wheel of Nemesis completes its fatal turn."They're (the ten horns) have one mind, shall give their power and authority to the beast" (Revelation. 17: 13)."They make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful" (Rev. 17: 14.)."And he said to me: The waters you saw, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues" (Revelation. 17: 15)."And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire" (Revelation 17: 16.). Turning the tragic fatal wheel of compensation, the harlot will remain desolate and naked, and the ten tragic horns will eat her flesh and burn her with fire of fornication in the darkness of the abyss."For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until they are fulfilled the words of God" (Ap. 17: 17)."And the woman you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth" (Ap. 17: 18).The great tragic city is Babylon the Great, the mother of all fornications and abominations of the earth: the perverse modern civilization.
