One of the most controversial topics discussed in scientific circles concerns electrical engineer Nikola Tesla claiming to have received "signals from Mars" that were described as extraterrestrial in nature (AND FACILITATED IMPROVEMENTS IN HIS WORK IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING). Tesla would (after this experience) become a fierce advocate of alien comunications (which is not smart to do if you're seeking funds for creating metropolitan power sources). Tesla was the first person to ever write on extraterrestrial communications (unless you consider the Bible, Quaran, or Bhagvah Gita to be the first to report on such possible communication with aliens). Tesla reportedly wrote dozens of articles on alien communications. A good source for these previously published works by Tesla on interplanetary communication is found in "A Signal From Mars" by Kenneth Arnold.
This begs the question: is there an astrology description of contact with aliens?
In my book "Basic Principles of Horoscope Interpretation" I described Chiron as usually being strong (per placement or by aspects) in the horoscope charts of people claiming to have had contact with or having strong interests in extraterrestrials. Note that one can include interdimensional entities with the category of extraterrestrials.
Below is a reference sheet for the planets, luminaries, and houses.
Pluto Square Chiron is found in both of the horoscopes of Betty Hill and Nikola Tesla. Pluto's energy is associated with psychological crisis, as well as psychological breakdown (due to crisis). This is the meaning of Pluto's energy often described as "a transformation, often via a crisis of some kind."
The Square energy ("conflicts; resolve of conflicts") applied to the energy of crisis-ruling Pluto and with the energy of an other-worldly entity (i.e. Chiron) can be called a crisis. This is because it's an association that is in conflict due to crisis-ruling energy "squaring off" with an energy of an entity not meant to be in the environment. This may define "an invasion."
Let's look at the horoscope of Betty Hill. Betty Hill was reportedly abducted by extraterrestrials in New Hampshire in September of 1961.
Per my book: when analyzing priority in contemporary astrology horoscopes, it is usually good to give some priority with the horoscopes' Personal Points (which are the Sun, the Moon, the Nodes, the Midheaven, and the Ascendant). Betty Hill's Pluto Square Chiron is directly connected with both the Midheaven (Mc) and the Ascendant (As) above per drawing in the red box. Black Moon Lilith (which has been described as "Scorpio/Pisces on steroids") is in Trine with the Moon, and the Moon can rule "the public." This may explain why so many people employed in Scorpio ruling highly-secretive areas of governments (and Pisces ruling fundamentalist religious groups) were so interested (and angered) by the Betty Hill UFO/ET encounter.
Now let's look at Nikola Tesla. Note that Tesla has the Pluto Square Chiron placement as well, and (similar to Betty Hill) also has the Ascendant ("the environment of the individual") involved with the Pluto Square Chiron placement.
Drawn in red squares above, Nikola Tesla has deception-ruling Neptune aspecting hard to the Nodes (which rules "connections with others in the environment"). Neptune is also close to being almost in the exact middle between the Pluto Square Chiron placement, forming Semi-Square aspects (45 degrees) to both planets. Neptune also rules "services to others," and Tesla's long-held dream was to create a source of inexhaustible, clean energy that was free for everyone and would serve everyone. He strongly opposed centralised and privately owned coal-fired power stations of electricity that spewed carbon dioxide into the air that humans breathed. Neptune-like activities for Tesla would include being deceived by financial backers, having his funding mysteriously disappear, and be a victim of contract manipulations that would at one point bankrupt him completely.
The response to Tesla's demand for this free electricity service was probably also met by secretive people in power (many with dollar bill signs on their eyes), and this may explain the aspects of Black Moon Lilith applying to the Pluto Square Chiron placement as well (please look for the red quadrangle above). Also note that Tesla has Saturn Square Black Moon Lilith, and this is not favorable for financial backing. This is because Black Moon Lilith has a Scorpio component to it, and Black Moon Lilith is often found very strong in the horoscopes of bankers or individuals with access to financial funds (i.e. J.P. Morgan's horoscope had Black Moon Lilith forming a T-Square to the North and South Nodes, and J.D. Rockefeller's horoscope had Black Moon Lilith forming a Conjunction with Jupiter. Interestingly, Jimmy Hoffa [who had access to the Teamsters Union pension fund] had Black Moon Lilith Conjunction Ascendant on his horoscope).
In addition to "crisis due to UFO/ET encounter," Pluto Square Chiron can also define "transformation (Pluto energy) of advanced technology (Chiron energy), and probably due to or via a crisis of conflicting energies (Square)." Both Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison were involved in possibly the most major transformations involving advanced technology at that time, and this involved the service of electricity to others.
Note that electrical power is generated via a "crisis" that results in the flow of electrons to a transformer (see green description below) from a source of "chaos or crisis." The transformer then allows the electricity sent to it to be delegated to others at useful levels.
Let's look at the horoscope of Thomas Edison below. There are two used: one for 3:00 AM and another for 1:30 AM. I picked 1:30 AM because Edison simply looks too much like a Scorpio; the Ascendant often reveals the appearance (and Edison has an "eagle-like" appearance, similar to Scorpio Ascendants of Clint Eastwood, George Harrison, Nicole Kidman, and Jimmy Page. He does not look like a Sagittarius Ascendant; examples of this rising sign include Brad Pitt and Marlon Brando).
Thomas Edison favored the concept of charging everyone money for electricity from a central power source; this would win him great favor for financial backing and funding from those with Scorpio energy sources. This may be represented by the Black Moon Lilith Conjunction Midheaven (Mc) placement, drawn in the green box below. As mentioned, Black Moon Lilith has a Scorpio side to it, and Scorpio rules banking and "other people's money." And unlike Tesla, Edison's Black Moon Lilith is well-placed near the Mc, with a minor Uranus Quincunx as the only other aspect besides the Conjunction with the Mc.
Edison has a near exact Opposition between Pluto and Chiron. Like Tesla, Edison has the Pluto Opposition Chiron placement aspecting his Nodes ("connections with others"). But unlike Tesla, Edison doesn't have any aspects of deceptive Neptune involved with the Nodes, which rules "associating with others in the environment."
Also note that Edison has Chiron in the 11th House, while Tesla had Neptune in the 11th House. Both Chiron and Neptune in the 11th House can greatly favor the inspiration and inventive energies ruled by the 11th House. But 11th house also rules "friends, allies, and associates," and Neptune in the 11th House is found in horoscopes of some people whose friends and associates either betray them or deceive them in some way. And Nikola Tesla had a lot of deception and disappointment with his dream of free energy for everyone. Edison, on the other hand, connected with many with the Pluto Opposition Chiron placement on top of the Nodes. And yes, these were friends and allies who wanted to make a lot of money.
Conclusion:
Nikola Tesla will be remembered as a pure scientist, while Thomas Edison will be remembered as an applications scientist. A pure scientist is one with vision for others, while an applications scientist is in it for making money from others. Tesla probably had contact with extraterrestrials, and the fact that he wrote about it on many occasions demonstrates some authenticity. I suspect this ET contact may have facilitated Tesla's vision of free energy for everyone. It was unfortunate this ET encounter and possible ET inspiration would take place during an age where everyone's dream was to be filthy rich and to be like a robber baron such as J.P. Morgan and J.D. Rockefeller.
