A basic conclusion is provided at the end for the uninitiated. The rules of the debate are as follows: (a) no audience will be present (what?) (b) no candidate can bring in notes, but paper and pen will be given to each candidate to write notes (c) microphones will be muted and only turned on when it is the time for the candidate to speak (decided by the moderators) (d) the debate will be 90 minutes long, with two commercial breaks. And yes, the sponsor of the presidential debate event is CNN (who told you that Alex Jones lost in a Houston, Texas court recently when in fact Alex Jones actually won). Let's first start out with analysis of the transiting Moon. The Moon often defines "the hour of the event." Joe Biden gets a huge advantage with the transiting Moon, as seen below:
This is a good transit for Biden to start the debate with. But the problem with this lunar transit is the Moon Conjunction Neptune transit taking place at this time. The Moon can represent "the general public" as well as "the hour of the event," and the midpoint of this Moon Conjunction Neptune transit forms a hard Trine with Biden's natal Sun position, as seen below:
PLEASE NOTE: Trines involving Neptune are not necessarily harmonious. This is because Neptune is notorious for fooling you or tricking you into believing a situation is harmonious. This is why drugs and intoxicants are strongly associated with Neptune; they make you feel better during bad times. The Moon is afflicted for this event due to this Conjunction with Neptune. As mentioned, in addition to "the hour of the event" the Moon can also represent "the general public." And this [Moon Conjunction Neptune] Trine Sun transit may not work too well for Biden with the transiting Moon representing "the public" and the natal Sun representing "the expression of the public personality." This is due to transiting Moon/Neptune possibly representing "absence of public support" or "deception or disappointment involving the public or one's family." Now onto Donald Trump's chart and the transit of the Moon for this debate:
Moon Trine Venus is strong, as is Moon Sesquiquadrate Pluto. If the Moon represents "the general public" (as well as "the hour of the event"), Moon Trine Venus may define great harmony with the public. Moon Sesquiquadrate Pluto may define Trump causing great stress during this debate with current "agents of change and agents involved in areas of great secrecy," such as the banking community, the spy community, and the illegal secret areas of government (such as human trafficking). Strongly shown on the chart below, the spy community may have an opportunity to either work with Donald Trump or to shut him out completely. This is according to Chiron Sextile Sun and Chiron Square Saturn.
Chiron Square Saturn (with transiting Chiron in the law-ruling 9th House) may also represent Trump's inability to discuss the law during this debate due to his gag order from a New York judge. Mercury rules communications, and a look at both natal placements of Mercury on the horoscopes of Biden and Trump reveal interesting transits. Let's first look at Biden:
Joe Biden's Sun Sesquiquadrate Mercury transit (along with the Moon Trine Jupiter transit) may indicate that Biden may be "rearing to go" once the debate starts; Biden may thus have a strong start in this debate. Another interpretation for this Sun Sesquiquadrate Mercury transit is an attempt to start a verbal conflict; this type of conflict reportedly hurt Trump in the previous debate as it made Trump look like a bully. Now onto Donald Trump's natal Mercury placement.
Sun Square Neptune is one degree away (and weakens as the debate goes on), and Sun Conjunction Mercury is two degrees away (and gets stronger as the debate goes on). This weak Sun Square Neptune transit may indicate that Trump may be slightly "off target" (or misunderstood) in the beginning of the debate; this also indicates that Biden may start out strong in this debate if this is indeed the case. Per this transit of Sun Square Neptune, my advice to Trump is to stay away from the media the day before and the day of the presidential debate. After the debate, please be ready to become involved heavily with the media (as the Sun Conjunction Mercury transit gets really strong after the debate). Also be ready for possible censorship of advanced technology sources with the transit of Chiron Square Saturn taking place. Now onto "lucky transits." Let's look at Joe Biden's lucky transit of Uranus Sextile Jupiter:
Sextiles represent "opportunities," and yes, the Uranus Sextile Jupiter transit may represent "opportunity for surprising news that may be fortunate." The problem is that Sextiles usually have a mild effect, and Uranus Sextile Jupiter may also represent "opportunity for surprising news that may be good or bad." And with the transit of Jupiter Conjunction Saturn fast approaching on Biden's chart (within 3 degrees and closing), I am not sure if Biden's luck is about to change in a surprisingly good way with this debate. Now onto Trump:
The transiting midpoint of Sun/Jupiter ("the fortunate man; a day of great fortune") is within 1 degree of Donald Trump's natal Sun position (and this transit is increasing in strength as the debate goes on). This again appears to indicate Trump doing very well in the latter part of the debate (as opposed to the very beginning of the debate). Trump also has Jupiter Semi-Sextile Mercury fast approaching (within 2 degrees); this suggests "good news" after the debate.
Conclusion
Joe Biden appears to start the debate "with a bang," and this is a common trait seen with Biden when he starts his speeches as well. Biden may try to draw Trump into an argument during this debate; this tactic reportedly worked well in the 2020 debate as it made Trump appear "unglued" and appearing like a bully. Trump appears to get better and better throughout this 2024 debate as time passes, and Trump may have favorable stats after the debate. Because of transiting Jupiter approaching the Royal Star of Persia Aldebaran, legal areas are sure to be discussed during this debate. This is an advantage for Joe Biden since Biden can talk about his son's trial while Donald Trump may not be allowed to talk about his trial due to a gag order. Thus, Biden can say anything he wants (true or not true) regarding Trump's legal situation with Trump being unable to defend himself due to a gag order. Hopefully this legal area of concerns affecting both Biden and Trump will not be the main issue or take up the main batch of questions presented by the CNN moderators. Don't hold your breath.
