Basic conclusion at the end for the uninitiated. As was the case with Jimi Hendrix, the cause of death of Rolling Stones guitarist (and founder) Brian Jones appears to be very questionable with "death due to actions of another" getting ruled out again. This rationale for the cause of death being questionable is because construction company director Frank Thorogood (who was working for Brian Jones at his home in 1969) reportedly confessed on his death bed in 1993 of "doing Jones" because "I snapped." According to Brian Jones manager Tom Keylock, he was told by his brother Frank Keylock (a senior Scotland Yard CID officer) that Jones' death was ordered to have been a cover-up because of mistakes made by the local police (such as failing to investigate who else was in the pool that night at the time of Jones' death [which happened to be Frank Thorogood, and nobody else]). Let's look at the horoscope of Brian Jones below. Equal houses are used; equal houses are recommended if north of 45 degrees latitude:
And below is the horoscope above but with my notes. The Mars Conjunction Uranus placement (in Conjunction with the star of Algol) is significant due to placement in the 4th House. This can represent "a dangerous or fatal event (or murder/death) taking place at the home residence."
Brian Jones reportedly had a lot of legal problems. He had six children from six different women, and he was constantly harrassed (and occassionally arrested) by the police for marijuana and/or excessive drinking (and probably for good reason. Jones was reportedly so intoxicated on one occassion that he drove a motor scooter through a shop window). The Royal Star of Persia Antares is strongly associated with "many legal problems due to success," as demonstrated with Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page (who both have this star in Conjunction with Venus). Brian Jones has the placement of Midheaven (Mc) Conjunction star of Antares; his legacy may be defined by the great stress of legal issues affecting his responsibilities and success as an artist. Now let's look at the death of Brian Jones below:
And below is the same chart above, but with my notes. Note the transit Neptune Opposition [Mars Conjunction Uranus]; transiting Neptune is within 02' minutes of an exact Opposition placement with the natal Mars/Uranus midpoint placement. Again, Mars Conjunction Uranus (conjunction star of Algol) in the 4th House can represent "a dangerous or fatal event (or murder/death) taking place at the home residence." Now it is known that everyone was stoned on hash cakes and alcohol at the Jones' residence that evening. It is possible with Neptune ruling "drugs; alcohol; intoxication" that Frank Thorogood may have "snapped" over Brian Jones telling him that he was not to receive any payment for property work until he (and his freeloading friends) vacate the property. Thorogood reportedly wanted 6,000 more pounds (in addition to the 18,000 that was agreed on), and Jones refused. Brian Jones gave Frank Thorogood this ultimatum on July 2, 1969, a few hours before his death.
Conclusion
According to the Sussex Police (in 2009), the death bed confession from Frank Thorogood that he killed Brian Jones was probably coerced and thus not reliable. Drinks, drugs, and drowning while swimming under the influence killed Brian Jones (as the mainstream media stated in a similar way with Jimi Hendrix). But note that Brian Jones' daughter Barbara Marion disagrees, telling Sky News "I don't think his death was investigated as it should be." This concurs with Jones' manager Tom Keylock, as he was told by his brother Frank Keylock (a senior Scotland Yard CID officer) that Jones' death was ordered to have been a cover-up because of mistakes made by the local police (such as failing to investigate who else was in the pool that night at the time of Jones' death [which happened to be Frank Thorogood, and nobody else]). This death looks like an accidental killing at the home; I suspect that an intoxicated Frank Thorogood may have threatened to drown an intoxicated Brian Jones over 6,000 pounds (and unintentionally doing it). Thus, Jones' death looks more like manslaughter or murder as opposed to death by a misadventure of drinks and drugs.

Love to all,
