Ministration of Kindness

Take a moment to remember those people that mean so much to you; the people you admire and love to be around. These people may not be wealthy, and perhaps not even well achieved and possibly not heard of by others…but to you they are precious and add a dynamic aspect to your ever-developing life and journey. These people that are most precious to you, the ones near to you that you admire, have you ever considered what makes them different from any other person in our life? Do they selflessly give kind ministration unconditionally? Are they happiest and most feeling most successful when they have helped another person?
Genuine givers, the people that give unconditionally do not ask for anything in return simply because the act of giving and helping another in any way they are able is their reward. Giving can be in the form of positive praise. Even the worst performing artists, athletes, students, etc. all deserve to be recognized for what they did well, instead of always bringing focus to what they did wrong. They don’t need reminders of what went wrong, they know already or will once they have had time to go through the events of the day. But every person does deserve to be treated kindly and appreciated through compassionate praise and warm actions that are derived from a selflessly, loving heart.
The genuine givers of the world understand how difficult it is to ask for help. But when you select them, you are extending something of great value towards them; you are saying without so many words that you trust them. It makes no difference if the help is in the form of advice, a warm hug, an encouraging smile, kind praise, or help in moving, accompanying you to an appointment, etc. When you ask for help dear ones, you are declaring that you are vulnerable and the strength you are using to ask for help does not diminish your character. But it does demonstrate that you are human, you are capable of making mistakes, you are taking responsibility for your errs and sometimes need a little TLC or helping hand to get through a couple rough patches.
Sometimes what a giving person gives when you are experiencing a difficult challenge is their time and by giving you their time, they are offering you a gift of patience. With all the rushing and hustling that is going on in your fast-paced world, it might be occasionally difficult to find someone who genuinely cares, doesn’t ask for a favour in return and who shows absolute patience and it this great attribute that encourages your confidence to return that lets you know deeply that you are not alone. Sure you know you have spiritual helpers, but isn’t it nice knowing someone out there, unconditionally cares about your well-being and offers timeless wisdom when you need it most?
With so much being shared in your modern world, privacy and modesty is becoming less and less. But when you are going through a troubling tribulation, truly you don’t want to share this with the whole world. You want to go within yourself and nurture those inner wounds that dark emotions and troubled feelings help to intensify. A truly giving person, will give you your space, not wanting to overstep any boundary or cause further upset. When you are ready for comfort and advice, you will reach out and when you do, you might be surprised on who will reach in return to help pull you out of any dark, troubling moment.
Part of being a genuine giver, is letting someone else talk, or by giving someone else the opportunity to demonstrate their greatness; be it at work, at school, at home or when you are out and about. Letting someone else demonstrate their light instead of demanding the attention is a remarkable gift and it helps the other person to feel more confident and self-assured. Being empathetic towards others, knowing, feeling and understanding how difficult and sometimes how painful it is to speak up and share helps to open doors of unity where once they were closed and caused separation.
Not everyone you talk to or interact with is being genuinely sincere. So many people put on a severe mask of impartial professionalism. It is rare to see people in the different aspects of life; professional, personal or spiritual that are openly human. A true giver of sincerity in any area of life is open and more than willing to demonstrate pure sincerity in their actions when things are progressing well. In addition, they easily give praise to the hard work and effort towards others and express genuine disappointment in their own effort and not passing the blame to someone else. Just because you live in a modern world does not mean you need to become cold and hard like stone. Now, more than ever needs more genuinely kind people that give in ways that are not always in the form of money, but share a part of themselves every time.
Another part of being a true, genuine giver is in the ministration of respect. Someone who is sincere and true does not just give respect to those that do their jobs or tasks well, or who has achieved well, but gives respect to those that have made big mistakes, for the sake of not wishing their fellow person doesn’t lose any dignity over a trivial matter. Even if a boss has to dismiss someone, doesn’t mean they have to send the person off using humiliating, insulting words. Every single person is deserving of kindness and respect. No one person should feel that they are not. By giving respect, we help to liberate people from feeling bad about themselves and reinforces self-compassion. Genuine givers don’t give because they have to, they give because they want to and something inside of them tells them it is the right thing to do.
Have you ever come across dear ones, someone who has made you feel you have purpose? Some dear souls have this uncanny knack for reminding you that YES you do have purpose and that you are not here just to go through mundane tasks of a job or as a parent or spouse. Some people come into your life to remind you that you are connected to every living thing that includes the Universe. Furthermore, when you work together as a team, good things happen.
Anyone can create a personal mission statement. Affirmations are great, but it takes much more effort and care to creating a purpose or mission that has the power and ability to make a great impact to your life and direction. It can be incredibly difficult to illustrate to others that they understand what they do does have cause and affect not just in their lives but can affect the lives of others, but they reach out and give their heart anyway for the sole purpose of wanting to help. Giving people don’t have a special handbook or written guide that tells them what needs to be done or how to care. They just know why they care and that is what is important.
