The first step is in going within to your own self and realizing that you have choice beyond your own thought patterns and beliefs. It might seem like that is a given, but that is actually the most important point. To stop and pause and really consider that you have power beyond how things have been up until now. This collection of chi, of consciousness, of strength, of awareness is everything. Just beginning to observe what is going on, and realizing there is a "you" beyond it. That is what gives you the leverage for the next step. It cannot be overlooked, or run through too quickly. It is the foundation for everything to come. The power of the witness.

International Women's Day | March 8, 2020
Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

The theme for International Women's Day this year is, "I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights."  The theme is aligned with the UN Women's new multi generational campaign, Generation Equality, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

Purple is the internationally recognized color to symbolize women while the combination of the colors green, purple and white is meant to represent women's equality, (according to the International Women's Day website).  Purple, or the combination of those colors, may be chosen to display to celebrate International Women's Day. There is plenty to celebrate, so be colorful!
