Deadly Typhoon Wipha slams Japan, including Deadly Fukushima Nuclear Melt-Down site

Powerful counter-clockwise flow of moist, tropical air around the center of Wipha is meeting up with the cold front currently over Japan and undergoing the transition to an extratropical storm. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, Wipha is the strongest typhoon to hit Japan since Typhoon Tokage of October 2004. Wipha is now the eighth typhoon of 2013 and also the 26th named tropical cyclone of the year.
Heavy rains of 6 - 12" are causing damaging flash flooding over Japan, including the Fukushima nuclear site, where rainfall from Typhoon Man-Yi on September 16, 2013 complicated clean-up efforts of the reactors damaged in Great Tohoku earthquake in 2011. Workers at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant have released rainwater that had accumulated in the compound from typhoon Wipha. The plant operator says the water had cleared tests for radioactivity. The utility says the water accumulating in reactor buildings is seeping into the ground and mixing with underground water."It assumes ?that 400 tons of radioactive water is leaking into the ocean every day." The entire Pacific Ocean is toxic from this radioactive dumping!!!!!!!!!!
Typhoon Wipha has left at least 14 dead in its wake and over 50 are still missing across Japan. The typhoon flooded homes and caused power outages and mudslides in some areas in and around Tokyo. The rainfall over the past 24 hours has exceeded 815 millimeters. Izu Oshima Island, south of Tokyo, had 122 millimeters of rain in a one-hour period - or more than double the average rainfall for October. Also, it is the heaviest rainfall on record.
Wipha is now targeting northern Honshu through eastern Hokkaido before pulling quickly away to the northeast. According to latest report by Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC), the center of Typhoon Wipha is located approximately 345 nm south-southwest of Yokosuka. The system is moving northeastward at speed of 25 knots. Upper level analysis indicates the system has begun a rapid extra-tropical transition.

Typhoon Wipha will accelerate further northeastward ahead of the approaching trough to the northwest. It will continue to weaken due to increasing vertical wind shear, passage over cooler water and immersion deeper into the cold baro-clinic air mass. The system is expected to become a strong cold-core low by the next 12 hours.

New tropical disturbance east of the Philippines will develop into a tropical storm later this week, which will then head northwest and threaten Japan around October 23, 2013.

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 16, 2013 (HealthDay News) — An illness-causing bacteria found in shellfish, previously limited to the Pacific Northwest United States, is showing up in East Coast shellfish and in Europe, a new report warns.
The bacteria, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, is the most common cause of seafood-linked stomach illness.Until recently, Pacific shellfish harbored the most virulent strains of Vibrio, but outbreaks on the Atlantic coast of the United States and Spain were reported this year and in 2012.
"This is particularly noteworthy because of the huge distances involved, about 3,000 miles from Pacific to Atlantic seaboards, and 3,000 miles from the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. to Europe," said researcher Craig Baker-Austin, from the Center for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science in Weymouth, England.
The bacteria is typically found in raw shellfish such as oysters and clams.
Working with colleagues at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, Baker-Austin said it became apparent that these virulent strains are causing illness in new areas.
In a research letter published in the Oct. 17 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, the international team of collaborators reports on the spread of the Pacific Northwest Vibrio in 2012.
That year, the CDC identified 28 cases from nine states linked to shellfish from Oyster Bay Harbor in New York. Another 51 people were sickened on a cruise ship in Spain because of cooked seafood that was cooled with ice made from contaminated seawater.
Vibrio usually causes nothing more than stomach distress, including vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. But people with weakened immune systems can suffer severe and life-threatening symptoms.
One doctor said consumers should not eat shellfish indiscriminately. "People should be aware of where their food is coming from," said Dr. Jacqueline Moline, chair of population health at North Shore LIJ Health System in Manhasset, N.Y. "There are significant risks to eating raw or undercooked food."
The implications of Vibrio's long-distance movement are unknown, but concerning, Baker-Austin said.
"In the mid-1990s, a variant of Vibrio emerged in Asia -- termed the pandemic complex -- and quickly moved around the world, causing huge numbers of infections," Baker-Austin said. "Although this has not yet happened with these Pacific Northwest strains, the potential for this to happen should be recognized and assessed properly."
This year in the United States, shellfishery closings in six states -- four in the Northeast -- were attributed to Vibrio.
The researchers aren't sure why or how Vibrio has spread, but they suspect human interference. It's possible that ships' ballast water or long-distance shipping carried the bacteria to new regions, they suggested.
Moline said global warming may play a part in Vibrio's growth.
"Higher than normal seawater temperatures are associated with the increase in the prevalence of this bacterial strain and illnesses associated with it," Moline said.
As oceans continue to warm, more foodborne illnesses will likely appear, she said. "People need to be aware of how environmental changes may be affecting all of us, particularly in terms of food safety," Moline added.
These bacteria can be killed by thoroughly cooking food, she said.
This is critical for immunocompromised persons, particularly those with chronic liver disease, becauseVibrio can cause a severe bloodstream illness that is fatal about 50 percent of the time.
Vibrio can also cause serious skin infections when open wounds are exposed to warm seawater.
Baker-Austin said cooperation among international agencies -- the backbone of this current research -- "is required to understand and tackle these types of emerging disease threats."
What's really needed, he added, are "better systems internationally to identify, monitor and report these bacteria and their associated infections in a timely manner."

Embrace it as the Father embraces the son,

the light of Love shines bright, total of the sum.
Where did my light go, when I refused to let him in,
knowing He waits patiently , for I really had no sin.
It was all a Matrix, mind control of the Dark Cabal,
they did fed off our Fear, confusing us one and all.
The tricksters tried to make us think,Love was Fear,
Keeping us away from the Joy that we wanted so Dear.
And so I laugh now at the programing they had given to us,
did they really think we would not awake and miss the bus.
Ascension is upon us as the light of Love shines bright,
to erase the darkness of Fear all through the long night.
My true identity awakened, abides in you, my Father,
my Holiness remains the light of Heaven forever after.
As the Love of God makes it shine in the infinite heaven,
we are one,shared identity of the light of God, we are forgiven.
I am he that my Father Loves,for his Love is our only source,
