Most people hate disruptive climate activists and also government mandates, invoking serious restrictions upon lives, especially without debates and discussions, prior...The higher green taxes on energy, the drive for ethanol in petrol, from E5 to E10...Not good for many cars. The prospects of being forced to change gas boilers, with expensive and inefficient alternatives, such as hydrogen pumps..
The idiotic activists who glue themselves to major roads, to stop traffic. The people are not at all impressed. These fanatical groups, taking such absurd actions, are not representative of public sentiment.
The science is not settled at all and needs ironing out, in public forums and TRUE scientific consent, among real experts in climatology. Currently, such real scientists are being shamed and ostracized. Very similar pattern to the covid tactics used against virologists, who disputed the "science." And there were many of them.
The phasing out of cheap petrol and diesel cars, replacing them with pointless electric cars...Pointless, because fossil fuels are still used to charge the batteries and expensive, because many will find unaffordable in a high-tax economy. Especially one in recession and subject to inflation...So who the hell, among most people, will be buying such cars..?? All baloney...all poppycock....
And I've heard that electric charging has not been seriously planned for travel. Those few with electric cars are not reporting excellence in the charging network grid, across the country...This truly is moronic virtue signaling by government. Smoke and mirrors.
And it gets worse. The food we eat is threatened with extinction, in order to "save the planet." Moronic, stupid, idiotic....The choices for protein could be lab-manufactured "meat," or insects, such as locusts and others, too disgusting to mention here....🤮
So to recap, Greta is used to present the illusion, that grassroots public support is greater, than that of governments and corporations. That the public are "demanding" actions by government, to save us all. The whole concept of "man-made" climate change, is a ruse, to allow elite forces to bring in the great reset of economies and all facets of people's lives, leading to a totalitarian and dystopian; one world government...

In the UK, a burning issue over EU membership was a long and festering boil, that had to be sorted out, eventually and thankfully, we had the 2016 referendum.....

If you hired someone to do some job for you, then it cannot be the case that you just have a right to say something to that person, eg by writing something on the wall, singing, hooting, ringing bells and other ridiculous gestures. Rather the person in question has an OBLIGATION to act on what you order! The government is not much different. It is only that in the latter, you are one of the many stakeholders. You tax etc is being used. Being a stockholder it is not the case that you only have a right to be heard! Nope! the government has an OBLIGATION to consider your opinion on how you want your money to be spent! In this way we can handle all issues, from wars to environmental to racism etc.
Protests have disadvantages like those we see in Jesus's case. They ended up overwhelming Pilate into executing innocent person! Protest seems like a nod to the notion that 'he who speek the loudest is the correct one'!
Although I'm now on the right of politics I have dabbled on the left, when I was younger and my career was starting up I had a great respect for unions and workers rights, in the work place and collective bargaining on salaries/wages...These were genuinely noble left-wing causes, that I fully supported...I was a civil servant in various departments and always thought that unions served a very good purpose....
In those days, there was none of the woke stuff, we hear about now...Nobody on the left ever spoke of anything bordering a concept, such as LGBTQ+..........It was government worker's rights, in the work place, the ministries. Working conditions and sound practices...Not personal lifestyle choices and looking for things to be offended by....lol😊
Moreover, these lunatic plans cannot work, as the alternatives to gas, nuclear and coal are NOT IN PLACE......And what wind farms and solar panels they have erected are not nearly enough, plus unreliable...For example, electricity is cut to homes when the wind stops blowing...Or the solar panels freeze in winter, as happened in America...
The whole effort to "green" the planet, is pure poppycock, driven by evil elites.....The people are sick of them...
Wind turbines are destroying birds in the millions......Is that helping the environment, for example....??
Electric car, lithium batteries, are not powered by energy outside of fossil fuels....So the whole thing is nonsense...Pretence and theatre, only...
In actual fact, we are slowing entering another ice age......Not global warming at all...The grand solar minimum started around 2020...As I described on my other blog...
However climate change do have some truth. We have seen a significant change in whether pattern, such as a huge rain in a period that is normally of severe draught. So far, in my place, climate seems to be changing for the better, not worse!
