For the past few years I have been following the channelings of Ashtar and other Ascended Masters via human channels. The information has helped me grow and expand and given me a deeper understanding about life and my purpose for being here.
I have also seen how fanatical people have become about 2012 with the idea that suddenly on the 1st of January 2013 the world is going to become `` heaven on earth``. Millions of people desperate to fix their problems they will believe anything they read. Self-help books selling in the millions!
The other day I was in the bookshop looking at some of the card packs for sale, and found a pack by Doreen Virtue. What got my interest was that these cards were printed in China. Makes me wonder where her priorities lie.
Has the whole new age thing become just another money making racket?
We know that there is an awakening happening on the planet, but on the 1st of Jan 2013, you will still have to pay rent, buy food and have everyday problems to deal with.
Believing that Ashtar with his forever `` Dear ones, you are loved`` (what a clique this has become) statement is not going to fix your problems. You will still have issues to resolve, and no amount of wishing will change that.
We have put these ascended masters onto a pedestal, yet through all there teachings they tell us quiet clearly it is us humans who have chosen the most difficult path, by agreeing to come to this planet.
We made the choice to come here and with that choice comes certain responsibilities.
I have reached a point where I don’t take much notice of the channelings except to have a good laugh at the comments about the channelings. I am tired of reading the same old speech from The Galactic Federation, about so called mass landings, de-cloaking etc. It now bores me silly. I don’t need proof or confirmation, whether they even exist.
Every year millions of children around the world believe Santa will be delivering presents, or the tooth fairy will pay them a visit. I am yet to meet either.
As a sensible person I shall continue with life and deal with things that come my way, knowing that each experience helps me grow as a person, and that I am fully responsible for my own actions, and no ascended master can walk my path for me.

Any messages I've posted lately about being 'evacuated' are intended to give people great hope. I have not written them in order to scare anyone, but to have this event as something to look forward to. Yet there are many fixed feelings here as we ache for our families, we are concerned about the world etc. And there are many people planning on staying here to help assist with bringing in positive changes. This is their choice.
I wouldn't have thought about evacuation unless I saw it in a dream. But it was a personal revelation.
I think it takes seeing the whole big picture and that only the bravest of souls ventured here to experience this time in history.
I am also glad to get some perspective as I have been feeling the very same way. Panic attacks and all. I am getting better clarity today after reading these posts. Thanks to all for the sanity.
What I see is conscienciousness of humanbeings evolving due to free information being available due to the internet. So now we are realising how goverments and in particular the people involved in the NWO have been controlling the world. The financial system in the world is totally corrupt. Free energy sources are available but denied to us. People are sick and tired of having a lack of most things and being lied to, controlled and enslaved by the system. This realisation is what is bring about the changes that will be of benifit to every humanbeing. No requirement for money, no more competition, greed. People focusing on what makes them happy and zoning in on them selves and discovering their sole purpose. Once humanity is at this point the universe is our oyster.
Well I think you're deluded lol Deluded as in, having a twisted view on it. Everyone needs to make money, that's the world we live in. And if you can make money by doing good service and helping people learn and grow spiritually, well why shouldn't you be rewarded for that, by having enough to eat, having a nice home with furnishings, having enough money to expand and reach more people. You don't actually expect these people to sleep in a box and eat cardboard lol
Most of life in this world is a business, and I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as the intention is pure. If your intention is to feed people baloney to make money, well that's not a good thing. And I agree, people take channelings too seriously sometimes, for me, it's good for verification, but I don't listen to everything they say, I have my own mind and I do things my way. But I've discovered through self exploration and discovery, that alot of what they say is true, when it comes to spiritual development. And if you can make a living by teaching people and helping them grow, well, more power to you. It's better than working 9-5 lol
Oh, ignore anything that talks of people being left behind, people being destroyed etc. Again, it's meant to generate worry and fear about our loved ones and ourselves.
Actually, having now managed to get that lot out, I feel better - thank you!

I have been reading these chanellings and messages for about two weeks now and have found that the more you read, the more your sense of inner truth becomes clouded. I agree with you - if we have chosen this path how would help from others allow us to complete the karmic cycle?
Like you, I worry that I only believe what I want to. However, I have had some genuine experiences and the level of synchronicity in my life has been so extreme I can't discount it.
I believe that there is something happening, I have felt it myself, as have many others. Our own personal truth will be different for each and every one of us and the messages should be used as a tool to raise awareness and understanding, even if they aren't 100% correct. However, if they are bringing you down, leave them alone and take a break for a while and until you feel like it is the time to revisit them.
The rules I go with are this.........
Don't trust anything that involves a request for money, other than donations.
Don't trust anything that specifies either dates or numbers.
Don't trust anything that specifies too many details
Don't trust anything that makes you feel bad
Don't trust anything that you can feel the ego in.
I'm not saying that all the above aren't genuine but in my experience, these seem to be the most tainted.
It has taken me about a couple of weeks to absorb everything I have read, however, how much more can I know without overloading or becoming totally confused and losing the love in my heart? I had feelings a few days ago that there wasn't much more I could learn from the internet in relation to this as there seems to be constant repitition on a theme and that I needed to bring it to a close and move away.
If we are on this path and it's real, it's going to happen anyway, regardless of what we read on the internet. I plan to meditate and think of love and peace. This has to be a better way that fueling self-doubt and worry, no doubt the intention of much of the misinformation out there.

Many lightworkers are VERY ungrounded at this point in time, which leaves them unable to relate with life here in physicality . . . .
Actually we are already in 'Heaven on Earth' and no we will not all be levitating off the ground or leaving spaceships next year!
I do not understand prophecies of mass destruction or leaving the planet - why oh why have we been spending all this time changing the heart and minds of humanity? It would be a waste of time to kill everyone, or go to another planet . . .
The earth is where it is happening - and the great transformation is happening within EVERY human being!
Everything that is human is being made Divine through our work here on earth, so be human for God sake! The change is happening within us, so don't expect outward changes at this point in time. It is the mind which expects that anyway - the heart sees within to the true state of things!

What I can tell you from experience is..Stop reading channelings because Id say over %90 of them are incorrect OR misguided information from negative beings.It is designed to trick your mind.Most of them repeat the same thing over and over.
Everyone knows the world is changing by the moment. We are evolving,our consciousness is expanding each second. More and more people are waking up and realizing the paradigm we've created is not the solution.

As you said it that statement is not going to fix your problems.YOU WILL FIX YOUR OWN PROBLEMS. It starts right now within you and transfers to everyone who is around you-everyone who you are in contact with. Your family,your community. The problem with many changelings is everything seems to be going "According to plan". Many channellings come off as we are waiting for our heroes to come and save us. Just like most religions have us fooled. If they were here to save us,they shouldve been here a century ago because the past century has been the bloodiest in human history.
Sitting here-wasting your time by reading channelings is going to do nothing. You must take action. The action comes within. Do what your heart desires.
WE HAVE TO LOOK WITHIN AND GO FROM THERE. No one is going to save us. We have created this illusion ourselves and the only way to get out of that problem is to fix it OURSELVES.

a chinese factory worker got food and shelter for making DVs cards it cost you less to buy because of that . doreen got extra percentage. she spent the money... someone got fed. she saved the money . someone will get it when she dies . they will spend it... someone will be fed and housed...its all good
re ashtar.... cliches are cliches because they are true. we want to hear him say. "i pushed the button so from now on its fabulous no problems " . he knows that . but to say it would be a lie that slowed us down. he says his cliche....because its the truest most important and salient information for us generally to receive. does he not say... be loved. be creation . be the power that eschews the need for rescue... and then our true gift will be present and known.
its correct to put ascended masters on pedestals ! then listen to them...and do as your told !..... they will tell you to get up along side them since it is your choice and ability to be as they are now
