The court announced her death, citing "complications related to advanced dementia, probably Alzheimer’s, and a respiratory illness." Rosalynn Carter, a renowned mental health advocate, died on Nov. 19, 2023 (at the age of 96), just two days after entering hospice. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with dementia. Let's first look at Sandra Day O' Connor's chart, and key health aspects that stood out.
Below are my notes:
Shown above in green, Mercury (in Pisces) is involved with a mutual reception with Neptune (in Virgo). The Quincunx aspect is strong, and I have noticed heath issues with the Quincunx and Semi-Sextile aspects, as well as the Sesquiquadrate and Semi-Square aspects. What is alarming is Neptune in the 8th House. Janis Joplin had Neptune in the 8th House per Koch Houses chart, and Neptune rules drugs. But Neptune also rules illnesses that are associated with age; dementia is a known disease that worstens with age. Mercury in the natural ruling 3rd House rules the lungs (both planet and house), and in addition to dementia Sandra Day O'Connor also had a diagnosis of respiratory illness when she died. Below is the chart for health reference; note that Mercury and Neptune are highlighted:
Finally, notice the strong correlations associated with the houses involved with the Mercury Quincunx Neptune placement (in the 3rd and 8th Houses):
Now onto Rosalynn Carter. Carter's chart has an 8th House placement also, but her cause of death was not related to any placements in the 8th House. This placement had more to do with "success in science," and the 8th House description of "death" gets changed to "psychology."
My notes are below. Note that the traditional Scorpio meaning of the 8th House ("The House of Death") gets changed to "psychology" (with Jupiter Conjunction Uranus representing "scientific success").
Neptune in the 12th House stands out. Neptune is placed in the natural ruling 12th House, and is in Conjunction with a ruling Sun in Leo. The Sun and Neptune do not get along; the Sun can sometimes represent the overall health of the person. This placement also exemplifies Rosalynn Carter's "services to others" (in the mental health field) and services are ruled by Neptune. The Sun can sometimes act as "a flashlight" regarding the focus of the individual (and yes, sometimes Neptune can also fool you). Below is the health chart for Rosalynn Carter. Note that highlighted parts of Aries/Mars (ruler of the 8th House), Leo/Sun, and Neptune/Pisces.
And the houses chart pertaining to Rosalynn Carter is below:
Conclusion
Both Sandra Day O'Connor and Rosalynn Carter died of dementia. This disease appears to be primarily ruled by Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th House. Sandra Day O'Connor had Neptune in the 8th House ("The House of Death") and Rosalynn Carter had Neptune in the 12th House (and in Conjunction with the Sun, which rules "the general health and vitality"). Thus, a key requirement to use to assess any risks for dementia include Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th House. Mars and Aries may play a role with dementia (since these two rule "the brain"), but Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th House should get the first look.
Thanks for reading.
Love to all,
Malcolm
