God said:
Everyone goes by his heart, even those who are not aware they do. That you are certain you know something or everything doesn’t mean you do. On the other hand, you may continually think you don’t know much or anything at all and that others know better than you. This isn’t an indicator across the board either, is it?
The human heart is your playing field. Even the most impersonal logical person goes by secret places in his heart. He may think he is going by logic alone. Nevertheless, his heart has ventured in, and his logic justifies the deep calling of his heart. Never does anyone go by logic alone.
No one is without a heart. Everyone goes in the direction his heart voices. Every heart voices: “This is how I want it. Give it to me.” How you would like life to follow what you want when you want it.
Consciously, you may only be aware of what your head wants. You have fooled yourself more than once.
Yes, you may have indeed favored your intellect. The fact is, no matter how fact-centered you may be and no matter how heart-centered you may be, it is your own heart-centered logic you go by. The thing is that you do not have to justify yourself. You can choose what you like for any reason you like or for no reason. That’s pretty much what everyone on Earth does, knowingly or not. The logical mind likes to be bossy.
And, yes, your logical mind can lay everything out for you and dissuade your heart. Is the mind the instigator or is the heart? What you are sure you know and what you actually know are not always knowable to you.
Ultimately, there is no absolute knowing ahead of time for you. You can’t base your accuracy on results.
Sure, you are looking for results, even as results are not the deep purpose of your life. For one thing, you don’t always know what the results are, or you only know the short-range results. Results, however, are not the actual proof of anything.
In life, very little or even nothing is a done deal. There is always a fresh dose of life. You never know a specific answer. Answers may well be ongoing and change before your eyes.
Regardless of evidence or not, a choice you make is the right choice at that time, whether you like or rue the choice later.
You are to make fast speed in your choices. Whatever choices you make, you are making progress. That has to be so. You are moving right along and always coming closer and closer to Me. This is your ultimate desire – to come closer to Me, and closer and closer yet.
Whether you see it or not, even choices that seem right may not ultimately be right in your eyes now, nor, by the same token, choices you are sure are mistakes aren’t all they are cooked up to be.
In terms of choices you make, there are short-range results, and there are long-range results, and there are results that change before your very eyes.
You don’t have the discernment. On the whole, you doubt too much.
You might as well look at your life, even for those aspects you may regret deeply, that you made only right choices. The jig is not yet up. What a relief to realize that you made apt choices all your life, and you don’t have to beat yourself up.
Presently, you do not have the whole picture in view.
Naturally, you have more to learn. And more after that, and then more after that. So, never mind, be happy with whatever comes. There is more to life than meets the eye.
