"It is hard to imagine that such a day is celebrated- that we can be so deceived into ritualising the genocide of the true American peoples, that we still offer an animal sacrifice in the 21st century- and that,more often than not- this practice is encouraged and supported by people who claim to represent a higher intelligence......It is deeply disturbing and fills me with utter sadness and horror that these gentle and social creatures will be exterminated by millions and that our children will be subjected to the images of their dead bodies as some macabre trophy to giving thanks..................
