I should give a short disclaimer and say, what is written here may be offensive to many Christians and possibly some Hindus as well. It is simply my personal perspective, nothing more, and I have no wish to offend anyone's spiritual outlook by sharing it. If you feel that you will be angered by a viewpoint that invalidates your deeply held beliefs, please don't put yourself through that, and move on to something that is more in alignment with you. Thanks~

There are people out there who claim to be Christ reincarnated, and are dismissed outright as insane. Same goes for other major historical figures. The logical argument is that so many people claim this that it could not be possible: How could there be all these reincarnations of Christ or Buddha, etc, running around at the same time? From what I understand though, this is indeed possible, as "reincarnation" is more complex than simply one "soul" dropping into one body at a time.
A dear friend of mine introduced me to the term "essence", and I think it is very fitting, particularly in this discussion. If I understand it correctly, essence is energy, it is archetypal, and it is the ingredients out of which "soul" and "incarnation" are made. At the most basic root there is only the one original essence, but like light reflected through a prism, it fragments into infinite diversity. Every thing and every person is a combination of these spectrums, along a particular space that encompasses a particular realm of frequencies. My feeling is that "incarnated beings" are a very solid and static combination, or shall we say rather a focus that the lens of consciousness has chosen. "Soul" is a less defined being, that does tend to gravitate around particular essences and spectrums according to its "psychology". It seems it can be possible to radically change that focus while inside incarnation, but rare that it would be done to any great degree, except by those people who have dedicated their lives to doing this specifically. It also seems that the final end of all incarnation and manifestation as a being is total merging into the original spectrum, traveling the opposite way through the prism if you will, totally dissolving any trace of individual energy into that original essence. This is part of what I think Ram Dass and other mystics mean when they say, "You must die".
It clarifies the situation for me to realize that what we think of as "Christ" or "Buddha" archetypes may actually be combinations of essence themselves, rather than purely one frequency of light, totally isolated from the rest. To use the Christ example, one can pinpoint at least two distinct energies being mixed: What might be called "Unconditional love" and "Self sacrifice". Self sacrifice differs from unconditional love, in my view, because it places a condition on the love of self, putting it at a lesser value than the love of others.
The incredible thing about this, for me, is that it seems memory can be transferred through the fragmentation of essence, very much like a traditional view of reincarnation would assume. It also seems that because of their potency and focus on particular areas of the spectrum, certain essences fragment widely into a large number of "souls". Personally, I have very specific memories relating to the historical figure "Jeshua ben Joseph", aka "Jesus" (the name given by the greeks to this figure). Many of those memories are not generally known to the public or the followers of the christian religion, but are shared with others I have met who also seem to hold fragments of this essence. Further, I have met people who claimed to be reincarnations of Mary of Magdeline, Ankhenaton, Nefertiti, various "ascended masters", and other major figures in history, and they also relate the same memories to me, which are not known to the public. I also hold memories of some quite infamous figures from other worlds that are generally unknown to people on earth, but again, shared with others I have met who hold these essences in their present incarnation, or had related to me in some way in that time or place.
Whether or not this is actually a manifestation of collective consciousness is unclear to me. Of course it is distinctly possible that there really is no such thing as reincarnation, and "other life" memories are simply information that is coming out of this collective mind. Regardless, when a person claims to be reincarnated from a figure in the past, this really should be treated differently than it generally is. For one thing, it must be understood, for that person's mental health, that they are not the singular manifestation of that figure. For them to claim otherwise could at the least earn them a trip to the "ward", and worse, might stagnate their spiritual development. At the same time it should be understood they may have a very real connection to that figure, and it is probably because there is something very important for them to realize about their own "soul psychology".
Just as dreams operate as symbolic indicators of a person's psychological state, I believe that incarnation and life circumstance operate as symbolic indicators of the greater "soul psychology", the tendencies of a "soul's" energy to particular clusters of essence. The dichotomy of how a "soul" could be one entity and yet many is difficult to understand for me, never the less it does seem to be so. The answer probably lies in archetypal "essence" that is shared among these types of beings. Indeed the question of reincarnation is extremely complex and I would love to hear any thoughts on it.

  • Well if someone could be Jesus reincarnated then I have been thinking what are the chances that I could be the antichrist without knowing it any guesses?
  • These are really great thoughts, thank you all so much for the discussion!

Ashan i agree with you on that, and yes i do consciously access my akashic records, if indeed that is really what i'm doing.

Dark Rae, i totally understand what you're talking about and that was one reason for writing this. It is powerful to understand what essences might make up what we are, but this power tripping can be a huge pitfall in that process and i see it happen a lot.

Marianinia, i agree that at the end of the day, silence is the only wisdom. But during the day, it's fun to think about things and talk :)

Unlabeled, exactly my thinking, is possibilities. This discussion i wrote up, is about one of them that i have found to be very powerful. I like the terminology, "soul group", that says a lot in a very few words. The disclaimer i actually wrote for my friends on other sites that are not as open minded as here, but included it anyway.Unfortunately it proved ineffective and several people were offended despite my warning. I suppose that's the risk one takes when expressing oneself honestly.

Reiz, the analogy about the mask is really interesting. One might say that all concrete manifestation is like this, merely a shadow being cast by the "original" essence it is reflecting. What you have said about collecting and reintegrating the fragments, this is very intense and i believe in this process deeply, part of why i engage in this kind of exploration. I would love to read your fictional writing, do you post it here? I see a similarity, not just in the content but the energy of the writing, about the interdimensional physics of fiction, very well met my friend.

Jara, again i would say, i understand that preoccupation with minutia can be stagnating, but it is fun to explore thoughts and ideas at times, other times to be completely silent and just exist. These are very good points you make though about ordinary psychology. Personally i am not christian nor was i raised that way, so it was surprising to me that i had these perceptions about myself. Previously i believed the entire thing to be a crock of sh*t concocted by the romans lol. I agree very much though, with what i seem to remember, that this historical figure is no more or less sacred than any other being, just as i feel about ETs, bodhisattva, or the godhead itself. Balance is always called for, but i really feel what Reiz said in his reply, that in order to understand who i am now, it is important to understand who i was, just as it is in "ordinary" life.

Ms. Happy, you have a talent for brevity lol. My question is, what do i actually believe, deeply, in my soul? I'm finding every day that is more than i previously thought, that there is much in my unconscious that i have yet to understand, that shapes who i am.

Wow, I love you guys, what a group :)

  • You are what you believe yourself to be.
  •      There is something wisdom and life experience has taught me.  Preoccupation with detail obstructs the flow of life.  It is a far more rewarding path to find the depth, meaning, and beauty to who you are NOW, than worry about who you were. But since we're discussing it, I'll offer a few brief possibilities.

    1. Christ Consciousness is called Christ Consciousness, not because Christ is the name of a man.  Jesus is the man, Christ is like a statement of caste, the level of mentality he ultimately reached on Earth.  Like Buddha and so many others.  It may be, when on the path to Christ Consciousness, one develops a sense of relation.

    2. The Jesus in a past life phenomenal is most common among drug users.  Some suggest its again related to evolving consciousness, some say it is related to hallucinations, influenced by deeply seeded religious programming.

    3. Because each person recognizes their own soul as innately pure and recognize such a profound sense of love, since Jesus is the only male image taught to be the ultimate embodiment of love, a sense of relation or association is born.  3b.  Because each soul recognizes its ultimate 'specialness', in uniqueness to all other sacred life, the self begins to think he must be Jesus reborn.  Note: On the other side of the world, people think they're mohammed reborn, but never jesus.  And you don't see anyone from the suburbs claiming to be a religious icon they've never heard of.

    4.  If you believe the bible and its prophecies, jesus does not return to earth as a 3D self.  He maintains is higher consciousness, so... if you have to ask, maybe not.  or 5. You could be the spirit that once lived as Jesus, here for just another rocking, rollucking trip around the sun!  Or perhaps your knowledge will be unveiled and you lead us all to Heaven.

Only you can look inside yourself for that answer.  But remember... All life is sacred and Jesus is no more sacred than you and I. Remember, it is a far more rewarding path to find the depth, meaning, and beauty to who you are NOW, than worry about who you were.

  • Well... there are some possibilities.

    1.  You're nuts.  Of course that would make everyone else on here nuts too, so... no.

    2.  Somehow you might have been involved with these people in a past life - perhaps being at a specific event involving them perhaps.

    3.  Every event, every thought creates an energy signal that is broadcast in to several places, possibly across planes, times and dimensions, and you happened to pick these up, and either did or did not interpret them as something else, so that what you are picking up on is either what you actually see, or an interpretation of an event.

    4.  You actually were these people, or a part of them; now you are part of their soul group.

    5.  Related to No. 4, these memories were actually those of those people, and you are deriving them from a universal consciousness.

    6.  An entity is very skilled at making you believe you are something you aren't.

Don't be afraid of offending somebody.  This site is very... liberal.  Really, the only time people get mad is if something ultra conservative pops up, or if someone is trolling wayyyy toooo much, reading everything and then posting their own point of view and actually phrasing it in a way that it (sometimes unintentionally) starts a big perspective argument.  Although, it seems that 50% of the members are never on here, and 49% simply watch everything and rarely drop in, so the other 1% are the ones who make posts or comments.  I might be wrong a little on the numbers, but that's how it seems to work.  So don't be afraid to post something.  I doubt there are really any hardcore Christians or Hindus on here, and if they are, most people know it; hardcores are rather isolated here.

  • @TomaZ: Yes lol, everything i just said could be condensed into that. I love being long winded, it's fun ;)

@Violet: Thanks for bringing up the aspect of resonation. If i were to extend the analogy used here about the spectrum of light, i could liken it to colors and how they relate to and mix with each other that way.

@Sayzarzillion: LMAO you always crack me up. Mr christ sez, poop is created by "digestion", by people talking about what they think ;)

@Rune: One might say that anyone who has embraced the "Christic essence" absorbs it into their energy and furthers this process?

Thinking can be fun sometimes, but like any drug, needs moderation :D

  • The christ consciosness comes to Earth in greater number. This vill escalate, and in 5`th dimension Earth everybody vill have this and be a Christ consiousness being! The ticket to 5`dimension is this energy!!

  • Hi J, you said "It seems it can be possible to radically change that focus while inside incarnation, but rare that it would be done to any great degree, except by those people who have dedicated their lives to doing this specifically."

That sounds true and also anyone you come near can greatly influence your vibration wave state, as well as those more distant, though to less degree depending on the their consciousness sphere of influence or vibration.

However, these other soul energies will not stick very long if it does not resonate closely to ones existing vibrational energetic frequency or possibly one chooses what will stick or resonate.

Also, soul vibrations that are not incarnated can affect incarnated beings. Though incarnated is just a vibrational state anyway appearing real.

So for sure, many can embody as you say, christ energies or any other nuance of another souls musical pattern or vibration.

    peace love light
