I CRY BECAUSE THE WORLD IS IMPERFECT-BECAUSE HUMANITY DOESN'T DESCRIBE THE HUMAN RACE- BECAUSE COMPASSION IS A COMMODITY, NOT A STATE OF MIND- I CRY BECAUSE WAR LEAVES SCARS ON THE FACES OF OUR POPULATION, DEMOLISHES HOMES, STEALS LIVES - I CRY BECAUSE MY COUNTRY IS SO DIVERS IN CULTURES, YET RESPECTS NONE- I CRY BECAUSE OUR CHILDREN ARE ABUSED, LEFT ALONE , STARVED, RAPED- BECAUSE WE HAVE BECOME INDIFFERENT TO THEIR SUFFERING.
I CRY BECAUSE THIS IS LIFE.

The motto of the world is " Take care of #1--me" When God clearly said ( numerous times) You are your brothers keeper. We close our eyes to what goes on around us because we can't see past ourselves. I mean think about it, how many times a day do we say " I ". I (LOL) thought about it one time and clicked a counter to see how many times in 24 hours I would say I. Over 1500 times, then I counted the times I said I and the times I thought it, over 5000 times in 24 hours. That's a lot of focus on I. After that I began to teach all my youngun's to think beyond themselves.
Instead of takin' offence by what someone said, to stop and process a moment on what they said, what state of mind are they in. How we react to any given situation can make all the difference in how someone else handles the situation. Maybe me being calm and understanding, listenin' to the words coming out of there mouth rather then the anger or desperation, will be what someone else needs to calm down and think. People don't always need someone else to give them advice, some times they just need a sounding board so they can work through the emotions they are feeling. We have to leave room for other's feelin' the same as we expect our friends to love us after we have gone into a rage and said F**K 'em all. We tend to take it as a personal offence when someone is yellin' while they talk to us. Just like laughter and smiles conveys happiness and joy, which we feel when we talk and it makes the listener feel those emotions right along with us, anger, rage, fear, hope, surprise ect......... we share when we talk.
Change begins on a small scale, with ourselves, then our children, then our grandchildren and all the while we are making an impact on everyone who comes into our rhelm. Please excuse the spellin' but I wanted the word rhelm for a reason. To and individual it is the only space we can control. If we change ourselves and make a positive impact on those around us then we have made a difference. It's easier to shut our eyes and say we can't make a difference then it is to try or go out of our way to listen to another's problems, watch a child ( paid or not ) so the single parent next door can work and get on their feet, or make enough food when you cook to feed the elderly person in your building who can't cook or afford to buy food, there are hundreds of ways everyday to make a difference everyday if we'd only look beyond ourselves.
What makes me cry the most is we aren't all heartless and I believe most people try to help when something tragic happens, it's the day to day things we see that has us not seeing the homeless or latch key kid, the starving or the infirm neighbor who needs help with daily chores like cookin' cleanin or laundry. It isn't always money that is the solution but sadly it is the only sollution some are willin' to offer.
Crying is great for reducing stress, but fighting helps too.
...crying doesnt help much...u need to stand up and Fight!!!
