Should I be afraid of the minute hand landing on 12? No? How about the hour hand? It happens all the time, all day long ever since we invented the clock.
The Earth has lined up in the same place every 26,000 (correct me if I'm wrong) years, and it's been doing the same thing for 5 billion years. The only difference now is that Earth has a civilization that ponders the passage of time.
When the Mayans built that calender, the passage of time was circular like a clock. There has been a lot of alarmism, books sold, History Channel specials aired, and movies made in regards to it.
I've noticed a lot of people accepting Christ into their heart because of fear, confusion, and/or exhaustion. Human beings have powerful minds that create beautiful ideas, and discover ways to explain things. Sometimes we just invent things out of the blue to explain things we haven't developed a scientific method to explain yet. We've invented super-beings and doomsdays to fear.
If somebody casts a curse on you, it'll only work if you believe in it.
Don't get distracted by intangible fears when there are so many awesome things to learn about the Universe and yourself.

Those are some good points . . . it feels good to be talking to you all again. I think as long as we can all remember what we learned from each other, and keep it in our hearts, we can overcome anything just as the planet has.
