Investing in Faith

What is faith to you? Is it a belief in something that you have no proof of? Is faith a part of your spiritual practice? Or is faith more?
Many dear souls define faith with a limited understanding of its immense force and power. Faith has the force and power to direct you, regardless if you are conscious of it or not.
It something that each of you use every single day. When you go for a walk, you have faith that your legs will carry you; when you read a book or newspaper, you have faith that your eyes will not fail you.
Each dear soul clearly demonstrates that they use faith constantly, in ways that are real, obvious and often very practical but go unnoticed. This is the force and energy of faith and how deeply important it is in regards to your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and attitude.
Even when you exchange money, faith is included. Where you invest your time and energy you are also including faith. You have faith, added with a little hope that you will have the financial means to purchase at least your basic needs.
And merchants have faith that they will have the customers to buy their goods. Faith is seen in more places that you may have realized. If fear and doubt sets in, your faith becomes lost.
When you have faith in yourself, your self-confidence soars. When you truly believe you can accomplish one of your goals, you are telling yourself that you have absolute faith in your own abilities and this positive energy produces feelings that are good and your self-confidence and self-worth goes up.
Yet the moment doubt or fear sets in, you are testing faith. Faith is invested in just about everything you do, from your ideas, to thought images in your head, what you think you will fail, or how someone may judge you.
When you place your faith in negative ideals what you create is emotions based on fear and insecurity, while you are still working with faith even though your faith has weakened. Instead of faith being expressed as positive energy, it becomes an expression of negative energy.
How many times have you revisited a memory that still makes you feel guilty or ashamed? Now if you believe in those heavy and burdening emotions, then the faith you have invested in has helped you create those emotions and feelings.
When you believe you are not a good person, or anything else that is derogatory that encourages guilt or shame, you strengthening the negative ideas you have of yourself. Faith is a force dear ones. It can lead you into deeper despair depending where your emotions are, or faith can lead you to hope.
The moment you begin believing that you are bad, you begin seeing the feelings behind such a belief as your truth when this is not so. You are not your feelings or your emotions, you are your heart in loving action.
Believe in the goodness of you, see that you are a reservoir of love, hope and motivating faith.
It is important for you to comprehend that everything that you feel and think towards yourself comes from the amount of faith that you have already invested in those ideas of yourself.
Two different people could have pretty much the same experiences of hardship, difficulties and mistakes. But depending on how they invested their faith will have an impact on how they perceive themselves and life in general.
One person may really think they will fail again, and again, and again…believing he or she are failures, always making mistakes. Now because they are investing their faith in such negative thoughts and emotions of themselves, they truly believe this. You are able to turn your mistakes into learning opportunities.
You can apply your faith into areas that shine with hope, that encourage you to invest your energy and personal power on believing you can overcome your mistakes and you can become better.
Negative and positive emotions carry energy that effect on how your faith is exercised. Each carries its own set of beliefs depending on where your mind is at the time. You will either cultivate security or insecurity for yourself.
The actions that you take will demonstrate how pure and positive your faith is and how it corresponds to where you are at the time.
If you find yourself feeling helpless, ashamed, afraid, unhappy, or feel it is your fault for all the wrongs in life, then dear ones what you are describing is where you have invested faith, in ideas that created such emotional, negative description of yourself.
The ideas that you form in your head, the ones that help create your self-image are not who you are. They are not the truth. But if you believe in them, to you, they are the truth, even though they are false-truths.
Where you invest your faith is where your beliefs are as well. Therefore by believing falsely of yourself, your beliefs also are based on false ideas and perceptions.
You already possess the personal power to reclaim the positive power of your faith from the false beliefs you created. And when you do the quality of your happiness will rise, your attitude will change for the better and your actions will be more loving and compassionate.
After recovering your positive-ness in yourself, faith cultivates a new range of beliefs that are encouraging, strong and helpful to your journey. You are able to see where clarity once lacked new directions based on what you want from understanding you are not your feelings…you are so much more.
By empowering yourself with faith, the kind of faith that optimistic and positive, your actions and choices will take you on an adventure of discovery and exploration of concepts that are new, of beliefs that empowering and on bringing out more of your authentic, natural self to the surface…
the you, you have ignored, shunned or even disliked because you have learned, thanks to the powerful force of faith, that you are important and no matter what challenge comes your way, you will find the means to overcome it, one day, and one step at a time.
And so it is…
