Leonardo da Vinci felt he was cursed
when discovering truth of man and mystery
he charged forward, spending his youth
unraveling the myths of science, magic, and history
He drew, he sang, he invented and spun
provide wonders and gadgets so the day would be won
but with age he grew tired, and saw those abusing his gifts
and it twisted and turned, made him sick, gave him fits,
and on his death bed, when he sought for a sign
He should have realized:
to be given truth and knowledge is a gift of the divine
to hide it within us kills our insides
so instead of hiding in fear and disgust
share what you know, try to believe in the US!

Running away, like a deer, when S was near.
S lived in pain, desperate to love his deer,
Running to find the U that fear.
U was tired of running in pain
S was tired of running in fear
Both never becoming whole.
U sat down, tired and sad,
S caught up and caught his prey.
Now U and S felt the pain fail,
Felt the love flow, felt the fear go.
Now U and S is US!
