I was the only daughter of the pawnee chief White Eagle and my name was Wakanda. I had also 3 brothers. White Eagles youngest son, my brother died one winter when he and his other brothers where going out fishing in the river. My youngest brother was on the way to go there to that big hole where there was no ice just open wather.. But my dear brother took a wrong turn and fell into the ice. The ice where thin so he could not get upp! He noticed the big hole where the wahther was free from ice was not to far away! So he took a brave attempt to dive under the ice and reach to that big hole where there where no ice! But when he was only few cm from the big hole where the ice was free...air got empty and he drowned! My other brothers managed to get him upp from the wather but it was to late..It was a great loss for my father White Eagle and for all of uss..
In that time when I was the only daughter of the pawnee chief White Eagle. Most of north america was a Sioux Nation. Tribes like Chahtaw,Ojibway, Lakota, Crow, Black Feet to name a few belonged to that Sioux Nation! However the cherokee and Apache tribes did not belong to this Sioux Nation and the Cherokee and Apache tribes where often in war with the tribes of the Sioux Nations. The Cherokee and Apache where pretty grim and nothing more than truble makers at that time in one way or a nother unfortunately...
One day when I was 15 years of age I wanted to spend some time for myselfe in peace and quiet from the noicy pawnee village! Away from all children screams, talking adults and all other noices! I went to my favorite place witch was close to a stream! I loved the smell of the trees, the sound of the stream, the sound of the watherfall close by..the sound of the birds, It was a favorite place to bee for me, a paradice...I loved to just sit there close to the stream or the watherfall...
One day when I was sitting there, minding my own buisness and thoughts a Chahtaw warrior passed by with his horse! He was tall and a very handsome 20 years old young native man. Strong and muscular built. It was the Chahtaw Chiefs son Little Bear. He saw me and and our eyes met, we keept on looking at eachother for sometime at the same time he was moving forward with his horse! I smiled and blushed and he gave me a warm smile back. I remember how it felt like I had butterflyes in my heart and stumach when I saw him! He was 5 years older than me and from that day he knew where to find me! I went often to my favorite place after that in hopes that I would see him pass by there again. Witch he naturally did! Once he stoped his horse and looked at me, my heart pounded like drums in my heart and my heart felt like it had millions of butterflys inside it! He jumped down and came sit near me and we talked and from that day we spent as much as we could together in that secret little place of mine. 2 Years later Little Bear came to the pawnee village to ask for my hand from my father! My beloved father gladly gave his daughter Wakandas hand to Little Bear. Little Bear came from one of White Eagles most trustfull allies and was son to one his friends as well. So it was pretty easy for Little Bear to ask my father for my hand. My father also knew what a brave and great warrior he was and was not more than honored to give my hand to Little Bear! I got married a year after when I was 18 years old! I got pregnant shortly after and gave birth to a little girl that we names Isi. I got two more children, 2 boys. Isi was the oldest child! When she was 8 years old she died, she was killed by an Apache arrow. There where often war going on with the Sioux Nation and Cherokee including Apache. Our boys became great warriors and fought this battles aginst the Cherokee and Apache together with the rest of the Sioux nations tribes. I lived a LONG and happy life with me beloved husband Little Bear, even if he had to go to war against this tribes Cherokee and Apache at times! He was 80 years of age when he peacefully passed away. I lived on few more years untill I myselfe passed away peacfully of old age!
