Love one another –Gods universal request

The Golden rule or ethic of reciprocity: “One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.”

Where did the Golden rule come from? The easy answer is… like everything -it came from Source.

Earth's History books record that Confucius around 430BC gave us a first version of the Golden rule when he gave up his considerable position of power to wander from village to village teaching "Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself."

The Golden rule is in what Christ spoke of when he said: A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another (John 13, 34-35)

Christ incidentally also avoided main centers of power and rejected attempts at embodying a position of earthly power. (attempts both from spiritual darkness and earthly follower’s)

Another is Gautama Buddha who was born a Prince but gave up his ruler-ship to travel in simplicity and humble means. Buddha also espoused the Golden Rule said in this way "Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.

" And "One should seek for others the happiness one desires for himself" He taught the path to enlightenment was to cultivate compassion for all.

…And in Islam the golden rule also exists in foundation teachings. "No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself."

In Hinduism ‘Ahimsa’ is the concept that simply put means ‘to do no harm’- to the extent a devout Hindu will not kill and eat an animal- in their recognition of all things as part of God.

It appears the world’s religious and spiritual paths are awash with versions of Source’s Golden rule and have been for millennia. By now one would think it would have become a part of our very selves, something that is innately in us and that precedes all of our actions.

Other widely accepted concepts are all the worlds major religions agree there is one God or source. In several they are also awaiting the coming of a Saviour or particular time of Atonement (At-one-ment) and in all their teachings one can see, if one puts on one’s parareligious lens to look- similar exhortations as to how best to find the path to 'salvation'.

So why the lack of progress, even today? Is it the 'other than' effect… for example some Christians find other faiths confronting. Some members of Islam find Christianity confronting. Much of New Ageism and secularism finds religion of any sort confronting.

Now Religion has been hijacked for Darknesses own means for a long time. What better place to hide darkness than inside a church right? But if we keep projecting thoughts of the forces of darkness on a group then what are doing but reinforcing said darkness?!

When is it time for humanity to stop branding all those different from ‘self’ with ‘misguided, wrong, deluded, evil, or controlled’ labels or any other judgemental calls -just because they are different from self in custom or expression of sentience?

Caged thought is apparent in many many beings that ‘get it’, the message of unity -within their own language convention. But cannot step outside of that convention to see the wonderful way god is working with ALL people no matter who they are.

Para-religious thinkers finds all paths fascinating and want to spend time with people of all philosophies and faiths so they may also embody that path and enrich their own.

Think Pi in “life of Pi” by Yann Martel. The deepest and most important foundation scriptures in most religions and core messages within the world of Lightwork, is most simply put cultivation of compassion for all others; to treat each other kindly.

This is what we find and integrate when we search our inner selves and eventually (or suddenly for some) become enlightened. What Humanity does with this knowing, is another thing altogether.

We will never achieve anything outside of duality without some concerted effort from both parties to overcome caged thought patterns. Judgement of other is probably one of the biggest –simply due to the pure diversity of expression of humanity on Earth being quite challenging.

Illumination can occur within all aspects of Humanity. We all have hearts and lightbodies that are receiving source rays. We are all being lifted.

It is a struggle to believe that that group over there has members who get ‘it’, who are in service to the light. Because they have different customs and a different way of describing God’s truths.

We may become illuminated –we stay illuminated when working in our own group, our own comfort zone, but then we fall into duality if confronted by aspects of ‘other’ because we can’t see past it is only earthly customs that are different from ours.

This is because of a lack of one voice. but one voice is there within ALL voices, if we choose to look. There are differences Yes. These are truly minimal differences at the end of the day.

This may all leave us both heartened and disheartened. Disheartened that the similarities in our voices are not recognized by each other.

We stick to our own and use our own particular language, symbolism and deities. We all do it. We happily tar them all over there with one brush of OTHER.

However in doing so we are choosing duality and delaying the coming of the light/saviour/Shamballah/New Earth… it is our Heart-minds that perceive the oneness in ALL. Not our conditioned minds.

Parareligious thinking loves learning new languages of light from earthly religions and from spiritual star brothers and sisters.

Do the world’s religions necessarily have to die out to resolve this problem of being unable to understand or see each other? Or can religion also evolve with us and be part of the continuing spectrum of diversity that planet Earth is apparently famed for.

Religions are integrated into core parts of the identity for many people, just as first nations have their spirituality that is integral to their identity and that we would lose some of our uniqueness as a species in favor of uniformity.

How much healing would occur if more people were able to enjoy and not be threatened by the amazing kaleidoscope of diversity of humanity?

Of human thought and language. How many would find and implement universal laws that do exist within our cultures and faiths; deepen their understanding by looking at said laws through another lens of this or that culture or faith, so like Pi they may experience Church, Mosque and Temple, to celebrate God in Us if they so wish.

This is not to say that one MUST do this in any way of course!

A world where Aboriginal, American Indian, Inuit, Maori and other indigenous cultures had died out would be the poorer Their cultures and mythology is alive and well and we are richer for it. Many indigenous groups almost did succumb to oppression and active suppression.

Their beliefs were mocked as being totally in error and ‘less than and ‘other than.’ If we cannot recognize valid truths that exist within all the world’s faiths, cultural and spiritual paths, then unnecessary dissension, distrust, disharmony and outright aggression occurs needlessly.

Many precious lives have been lost because we all forgot that the Golden rule lies at the heart of all faiths and in our own Hearts.

To reject the universal truths because it comes from a worldly religion or culture is to endanger those cultural treasures to be lost. There is a saying where I come from about where to holiday, overseas or domestically. How can you appreciate what you've got if you don't know your own country?

Similarly, while our Galactic neighbours have wonderful cultures and teachings in their own style and language and undoubtedly are more advanced in unity consciousness, and we as lightworkers resonate deeply being connected to them for this particular mission in this lifetime.

We must not forget that we of Earth are also a galactic society and should value our Earth born spirituality and teachings of our Earth Prophets, for in them we know ourselves more deeply in a sort of knowing the memory of Grandma's cooking way.

Now my Grandma had some beautiful dishes and some appalling ones (think tripe and onions!)But I would never throw the baby out with the bath water and discard the memory of her cooking just because of that dsigusting tripe dish!

At this point our collective consciousness is choosing what is valuable to keep and what we discard and leave behind. Let's sift through it all and get all the juicy stuff that makes up the heart of humanity. To do this we have to know the Earth's Faiths and cultures.

First we must accept US all.

In time then, we shall emerge as a beautifully complex and diverse, yet unified galactic society. A jewel in the crown of creation with a culure so deep all will want to come live lifetimes on Earth over and over!

Albeit we have a long way to go in the advancement of our spirituality. But we are advanced in our diversity.

It would be a shame to collectively suffer under duality for so long to then not reap the harvest of said duality by not recognizing what we have!

Let us strive to celebrate both our oneness AND diversity. How long can we keep doing this Other stuff? Hiding from what God asks of us.

He asks us to recognize there is no Other. In doing so we are free to embrace our diversity and uniqueness of self.

If we have the need to renounce all others as wrong and ourselves as right, this should only be a personal demonstration to ourselves of how little faith we must really have in our own path if we are feeling the need to defend our chosen path so strongly.

Truly embodying the principles of treating all with kindness and respect at all times, even if we cannot quite see their perspective from their path is enlightening to them and also enlightening to ourselves.

It also means we may happily explore other paths, finding ways to deepen our knowing of our oneness and diversity.
