Mercury Retrograde will take place from August 23, 2023 to September 15, 2023. Mercury Retrograde is often viewed as a time when bad things happen for those unaware of the retrograde period of Mercury (which is usually about three weeks). A pictorial description of Mercury Retrograde is below; keep in mind that Mercury does not actually move backward (but moves backward across the zodiac due to the orbital position with Earth's orbital position):

Washington D.C. Analysis:
More Arguments and Debates,
Especially Regarding Public Health,
Public Employees, And The Law.
The Earth Trine in blue above will be in full effect for this period with Mercury (placed in the 11th House) going retrograde in the sign of Virgo (and Mars [near Mercury] leaves the sign of Virgo at the end of August). Mercury rules communications and Virgo rules public health, and this retrograde period may indicate the subject of public health involved in much debate in Washington D.C. This may especially be true concerning Covid 19 areas and any new requirements for enforcement of masks or mRNA shots. Jupiter/Uranus (placed in the 7th House) will be in the sign of Taurus throughout this retrograde; Jupiter rules the law and Uranus rules surprises. Thus, expect more media coverage of legal surprises and miscues in legal areas (and this is especially true regarding Trump, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and legal issues). Pluto (placed in the 3rd House) may indicate a continuation (and possible escalation) of the current power struggles taking place in D.C. with any arguments and debates going on in Washington D.C. at the current time. There is a transformation crisis going on in Washington D.C. at this time, and a lot of aspects of this crisis concern the type of power being used (and abused) within the U.S. justice system and interpretation of the rule of law (and whether or not it is interpreted in traditional ways). There is a real possibility of shocking developments or realizations of activities concerning the U.S. justice system and their interpretation (or making up) of the rule of law. And this may or may not be good; this is especially true regarding 2024 election rules and laws that protect these rules.
Possible Good Aspects
Mercury Retrograde is a time when things get misplaced and/or replaced, but if one is aware of this aspect it may help one in becoming more organized. Please don't hold your breath for September 15th; just roll with the punches. Mercury in Virgo tends to be hypercritical, and thus Mercury in Virgo transits tend to result in a public that is more demanding of the truth. This being said, this current Mercury Retrograde transit may hopefully bring forth reporting issues from the mainstream media of which they simply do not want to report on (or tries to avoid reporting on) since telling the truth of current situations may go against their narratives.
Thanks for reading.
Love to all,
