More Than Ever

I love you more than I ever have
but still I can not be with you:

I can not sleep each lonely night
for dreaming of your company,
yet I could never, ever rest
lying alone next to you.

I could never be satiated
without feeling your touch,
yet I could never be satisfied
so long as you don't need me too.

I can not even live at all
being apart from you,
but I can not live with you
when you are standing by my side
yet somehow
completely ignoring me.

I love you more than ever now,
my heart is always with you,
but I don't think this dream can be
if you don't love me
like I do you.
