Moving Towards Integrity

Let us begin this week’s transmission with a question that requires an honest and truthful answer: What is it dear ones that you respect and appreciate of yourself?

Your little, egoic self has been a grand manipulator of your emotions, encouraging feelings from anger to greed within some of the most petty of desires.

Are you able to push aside the ego’s possessive grip and aim at doing the right thing when it is needed?

In the chaotic world which you live, it can be challenging to remain centered in your higher, more loving and natural self, the self that you trust that is confidently pursuing personal and spiritual interests; the loving self that nurtures ongoing friendships and strained family issues.

It is only natural dear ones, that from time-to-time you fall victim to your fears, fears of not knowing what will come to be. It is during the moments you succumb to your fears that you often lack respect for yourself.

Yet to bring integrity into everything that you do, it is necessary to respect your actions, even respecting what you choose to not do requires your respect.

If you are unable to respect your whole self, then you lack integrity and become intrinsically separated from wholeness. It is the self-respect dear ones that has the adhesive power of your integrity.

To expand your understanding of the importance of self-respect that determines your integrity, note that when you are respecting your whole self, there is not an ounce of discrimination.

It is essential dear ones to understand the reasons of your actions and to recognize if they are in accordance with integrity, if they are not, they do not require your respect but they do merit your attention.

When you are able to respect your actions dear ones, then you know you are doing the right thing and you are promoting these actions from within yourself that is joined with loving energy and intentions.

Now you can clearly see how self-respect can be comprehended as an inner force of power for integrity and for any action you employ that is formed on integrity. Don’t feel ashamed for what you may have done, learn how you could have done something better and with integrity that demonstrates self-respect.

You know the phrase, “respect is earned,” well dear ones, you have to earn your own respect in order to be at peace with who you are as an individual trying to get through life the best way you know how and by directing your journey from the core of your being—from your heart in each step.

Sometimes you meet up with issues or causes of issues that were not of your control, yet you learn how to manage and work through them.

You understand that even with the best intentions and focus on nutrition, you only have a limited amount of influence over your body. In each person there are strengths and weaknesses that come to you naturally and genetically.

Just because your body has developed differently or has shown a weakness in some areas over the years does not mean it merits ill-respect.

It is important to respect your whole self, including any part of your physical body that is ailing or not working as well as it once did.

When you respect your body, you are telling yourself how much you care and you are willing to give the care and love that you can by becoming more aware of your body’s needs and respecting and appreciating it for all that it has provided you so far in your current life-stream.

When you respect your body and appreciate wholly, then your body also becomes part of your integrity.

You already understand that the influence you have over your mental and emotional faculties is limited at best.

It takes great reserves of energy to be always aware of every thought form that enters your busy mind. You often find yourself in an anxious bundle of nerves that occasionally give way to depression or feelings of helplessness to the point you are unable to respect yourself.

You end up piling another emotional and mental offensive lesion over whatever the original issue is. It is too easy to reject those things about yourself that you don’t like.

What if dear ones, instead you use your energy to give yourself compassion, respect and appreciation for the emotions and feelings that can tumultuous? Wouldn’t it be better to feel whole instead of looking for perfect?

Try to comprehend dear ones that when you are demonstrating self-respect that you are not declaring arrogance. In addition, keep in mind that a little humility is good once in a while; it opens you up and gives room for self-improvement which requires your attention and awareness to know who you are, to accept all your shortcomings and to learn more and how to apply what you learn in all you do each day.

Even though God loves you just as you are, doesn’t mean you are not meant to keep seeking and finding ways to improve your way of living that denotes love for yourself and for others.

Stop rejecting the parts of yourself that you consider offensive and start giving those aspects the respect they deserve for they are still a part of you. Just like loving others; you cannot truly love other dear souls without being able to love yourself the same.

Self-respect works the same way, you cannot truly respect others for great strengths and abilities, if you cannot respect your own, even if they differ. When you stop fighting with yourself, you will realize just how much energy you have given to petty nonsense instead of directing your energy to matters that truly merits your attention, such as your family, friends; to your community, for your love of God, etc.

When you respect yourself dear ones, it makes little difference if others respect you. What matters is what you think of yourself. Of course if you respect yourself and treat yourself with appreciation, kindness and love, others will surely demonstrate respect towards you.

End the habit and need to compare yourself with another person’s strength or weakness and look into yourself, respect what you find and when you do, you will be more able to respect the same in others.

Look in the mirror and love who and what you see. Overlook the lines, the graying of hair and see the bright, loving soul that is looking back at you, wanting to be accepted, respected, loved and appreciated like only you know how.

Remember just how special you are. Inside of you is something divinely precious and important. There is a part of you that always has been able to illustrate an attitude of respect that is derived from the most sacred and natural part of your Self.

Therefore, every time you respect yourself, you give your inner, deeper, natural self an invitation to emerge to the surface. You are able to connect to your authentic self that you have often before preferred to be hidden and out of sight.

When you become connected to the essential part of your natural self, your perception becomes clearer even while facing uncertainty, peace will remain in your heart.

As we near the end of this week’s transmission, reflectively, take a look at how you do things. Do your actions speak of integrity? Regardless of what you do, is each step coming from your ability to respect your whole self?

Are you able to determine with honesty, which aspects of yourself you currently do not respect and can you become more respectful and appreciative of them? Determine if you are able to shift yourself to loving and appreciating your whole self more. It is for the better.

Liking your whole self, respecting all that you are, all your faults and all your strengths brings about satisfaction, wholeness and balance…an inner knowing that it is okay to not be perfect, because you are complete already.
