The Lunar Eclipse takes place on election day (November 8, 2022) at 6:02 AM EST. This means that many people in Washington D.C., New York City, and similar east coast media sections will be waking up to the eclipse. The Washington D.C. chart will be looked at and analyzed in terms of traditional Mundane Astrology definitions. There are a few people who think we will have a financial crash of some kind on election day per astrology activity; this will be looked at as well.
Drawn in red boxes above, Sun Conjunction Mercury in the 1st House is in Opposition with a Moon Conjunction Uranus in the 7th House. Oppositions are "trade-offs," and the weak conflicts involving Squares to Saturn really manifest after the election. This will be evident with the media defining Sun Conjunction Mercury placement forming Squares with Saturn. Mundane Astrology defines the 1st House to rule "grassroot activities" and the 7th House is known to rule "open challenges," such as open debates and open court proceedings. Because the Moon usually represents "the general public" per mundane basis, the combination of the Moon with Uranus indicates "a population involved with much excitement or encountering shocking surprises." These areas for this grassroots participation may concern "media coverage of open challenges from grassroots" (represented by Sun Conjunction Mercury in the 1st House). The open challenges of the Moon Conjunction Uranus placement is pushed a little stronger with Mars Quincunx Pluto (drawn in green boxes above). This Mars Quincunx Pluto placement is a slight tension aspect that adds a flavor of "damn the torpedos, full speed ahead" to the event; this transit in the sky of Mars Quincunx Pluto may help to motivate rebellious types of people on that day (yikes!)
Mundane Astrology defines the 3rd House to rule "the media and the mainstream media," and the placement of Pluto in the 3rd House defines possible "obsession with control of the media," which is a trait found in totaltarian governments. The problem with the placement of Mars in the 8th House is that the 8th House concerns "secret activities." Mars tends to be loud since Mars rules police and soldiers, and if there is corruption taking place during the election, not all police or soldiers are going to be involved in such corruption.
Now on to Election Day 2022 at 10:00 pm. This is when most voting results will come in. The chart for analysis will be the A.F.A. United States of America chart. Election Day 2022 transits (at 10 pm) to this chart are located in the outer wheel.
Saturn Conjunction Moon (drawn in the red box above) is a significant transit. This transit indicates strong challenges between the general public (the Moon) and the government (Saturn). This may define government imposing it's will over the general public, but it can also represent a general public wanting to know what is real and what is not real. And with the election approaching, the government has been under the examination for external AND internal activities by the general public.
Neptune Opposition Neptune (drawn in green boxes above) may be significant since the 10th House rules "the ruling political party in power." On a Mundane Astrology basis, Neptune in the 10th House usually indicates the ruling political party in power will be subject to much "disappointment, deception, or hard choices." And yes, Trump had this U.S.A. Neptune 10th House transit going on when he was U.S. President, and there were gains made by the opposing party (which is ruled by the 4th House). This appears to define that "the tables are about to be turned" with Neptune in the 10th House affecting the current party in power. Thus, it appears the Republicans will win big (unless they repeat the same 10:00 pm mistakes that were made in 2020).
Pluto Conjunction Pluto (drawn in the blue box above) takes place as 2022 closes out. There is about to be a big transformation in the U.S.A. (regardless of which July 4th, 1776 chart you use). Natal Pluto is in it's natural 8th house of rulership, and I think the transformation will concern the elite and the very secret activities they are involved with. Major changes taking place in banking and insurance are strong possibilities also, and yes, Uranus in Taurus may define a second look at "electric money" (such as Bitcoin). Other 8th House activities subject for transformation include social security, individual retirement plans, and taxation activities.
As far as a financial crash is concerned, the New York Stock Exchange gets Pluto Square Saturn the day after Election day 2022. This may define a stock market sell-off, but it looks more like a change in leadership or a change in relations of the NYSE with the government (due to the NYSE having Saturn in the natal 10th House). Any sell-off that takes place may be viewed as a reaction to the election, and nothing more.
