November 3, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY- In a movement of solidarity to Iraq veteran Scott Olsen’s injury in Oakland, CA, around 100 members of the military gathered yesterday on Wall Street in support of the Occupy movement.
The group marched to the New York Stock exchange where they held a moment of silence.
One of the protesters, dressed in his Navy colors, stated, “My friend Scott was injured last Tuesday. This is unacceptable. My friend Scott was utilizing his freedom of speech and that is exactly what they took from him. We are veterans. We are the 99%."
A two-time Iraq war veteran had the following to say, “This is the only occupation that I believe in. I am a veteran and I am the 99%.”
Despite the main stream media’s attempts to portray the protesters as unemployed, drug using hippies, the movement continues to gain momentum through alternative news websites such as in5d.com as well as through the viral marketing of videos.
As a result of the latest protest, New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg issued the following statement:
“This isn’t an occupation of Wall Street. It’s an occupation of a growing, vibrant residential neighborhood in lower Manhattan and its really hurting small businesses and families.”
Navy veteran and friend of Scott Olson, Keith Shannon, appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and talked about Olson’s rehab:
“We just got a text from him a couple hours ago. So, he says, ‘What kind of pie?’…which goes along, ‘Occu-Pie’”.
Olson’s text message continued: “I see the success there, keep it up. Non-violent in the face of police brutality.”
While Olsen is coherent, he still has difficulties talking.
BREAKING NEWS: In an article released today by the Associated Press, thousands of U.S. military veterans are heading to Occupy Wall Street:
Thousands of U.S. military veterans are heeding the rallying cry of Occupy Wall Street, saying corporate contractors in Iraq made big money while the troops defending them came home — and can't make a living now. "For too long, our voices have been silenced, suppressed and ignored in favor of the voices of Wall Street and the banks and the corporations," said Joseph Carter, a 27-year-old Iraq war veteran who marched Wednesday to Zuccotti Park, the epicenter of the movement that has spread worldwide.

For those who oppose this movement, you are also opposing those who have served overseas to protect the same rights that you are executing right now. Be assured that this movement is not just about corporate greed and economic slavery. It's about a multitude of issues, such as standing up to eugenics programs that put fluoride in our water and gives us Genetically Modified Food (GMO's). It's about releasing suppressed technology that will help to make this world a better place for all of us. It's about waking up to the fact that there is no difference between Republicans or Democrats, it's the same crap from a different toilet.
While those who oppose OWS have the right to mock this movement, they will also be forever known as the cowards who were afraid to stand up for their beliefs while they sheepingly accepted subservience, control and conformity in a system destined for failure.

We are on the doorstep of a new paradigm change. History is being rewritten every waking second by the movement. In the course of time, your grandchildren will ask, "Where were you during the OWS movement?"
The cowards will have nothing to say to them.
