A world without light, filled with nocturnal life? Nocturnus, we could name it. A place still in it's pre visible light evolution, everything is guided by senses similar to the species that navigate complex paths with sensory reflections. The sun has not been ejected into the sky, and there is very little water in a sublimated state. At this proposed point in earth's history, life is primarily vampiric, what do you think?
Does it make sense? Examine the previous points: If most the water was trapped, life may feed on bodily fluid, and still proliferate, The mosquito is a fine example, although it needs water in it's larval state. A dark world would have a dark culture, humanity seems to have moved steadily away from something incredibly dark, which was also vast in it's scope of achievement, if we only go back as far as the ancient temples that are still standing.
If "evil" natures are counter to the idea of evolution, why was their architecture so advanced? Did merely water rising through the earth, by sublimating, through a heating geological event, carry with it the energies of a divine reality, instead of a demonic one? There are other points to examine as the emergence of the sun to sublimate the ice is what killed the vampiric domination of the world with god knows how much history and advanced cultures, to flood the world with divine life energy.
