For we commonly are fixed upon what we believe has yet to be

Constantly reshaping, thinking what will come to thee

Riches, rags, children, cars, houses, jobs and fancy fare

We strategize, hypothesize how we can make it there.

Take this job, love this person, buy this but avoid the other

Talk to her, dress like this, remember these bases to cover.

We even encourage our children to plot and plan the same

Asking them to form their future before they can write their name

But if only we could focus on the places we have been

We may find joy and satisfaction already lies within

If we remember, we may not again place eager hands on a hot burner,

We may recall being a perpetrator and judge each other no further

If we could recall what led us to this very situation,

Perhaps we could surpass this restriction and frustration

But we are all too fixed upon the places we will go

Not taking time to figure out just what happened hitherto.

Nor understanding the vast complexities of our space and time

Without it we are prone to see our lives as one straight line...

A beginning...a middle…and an end--to which we cling

But we shall realize where we are now is where we've always been

And where we go next is where we already are

And what appears as a body is in reality a bright star

That exists everywhere, nowhere and anywhere in between

My dears, there isn't anywhere your soul has not been

Just ask it, you will see, you are wise beyond your years

There is no need to view "future" happenings with uncertainty and fear

For they have already happened and happening right now

You are part of an infinite play! All applaud and take a bow!

Let’s expand our awareness—allow ourselves to feel

Like an orange, each assumption--grab ahold and peel

Away from our core to find our true center

It's there—beautiful and unbroken—despite our conjecture

The places you will go are the places you have been

Are the places where you are so why not go within?

And explore your multidimensional reality--

Your omnipresence, your opulence--to let your spirit free!

Release yourself from judgment, fear, righteousness and condemnation

Enjoy your role as creators in this wonderful creation :)

Peace and love to you all,
