So I´ve decided to start seriously considering adopting Rhinos and Elephants.

Two Rhinos will be Adopted between this month and next month, one male and one female and they´ll be given native, Icelandic names.

The Rhinos will spend the rest of their lives, predictably in Africa, but will face an unpredictable future as do most Rhinos at this moment.

Rhino horn is no longer one of the most precious gems you can find on the black market, because a new era is dawning where artists overprize their paintings to the extent they cost more than black market material.

The Rhino Adoption Area will in all probability be used to raise a civilization composed of adopted animals on one hand and probably orphans among Africa´s human population on the other, who´ll work together to enable the Rhinos to increase their numbers.

It´s probable that 2 other Rhinos will be adopted next month or the month after the first pair which I intend to adopt.

After that, I start adopting Elephants.

I don´t need to be in Africa to do it.

All it takes, is Googling, and a few clicks, a few posts, and it´s a done deal.

Iceland becomes a leader in adopting Elephants and Rhinos, and other endangered animals, and it becomes fashion to be the talk of the town because you are adopting members of endangered species.

But my adoption programme has a sinister agenda to it´s feeling as well - if poachers attempt to attract the sites where my adoptees are kept, all I´ve gotta do is making a few googles and a few clicks, and I don´t need to worry about being declared a murderer if any of the poachers get killed - guided by a few clicks on the Internet and a few emails as well.

Other poachers will probably be given jobs to make sure that they don´t poach again.

I see the lives of the Rhinos and Elephants I adopt as more worthy than my life, since they are rarer in number than people.
