Work. I don't get as many hours as I would like, but it does take a toll on me. I was at work the other day, and sprained my wrist or something . . . it hurts to move. I've had problems with it before too. Every time it seems to get better, something happens to it. Not a big deal as long I'm careful not to put too much weight on it.
The other day, I was bending over to pick up a football, and fell down in the muddy grass when a burst of overwhelming pain shot from my lower back, and throughout the rest of my body. I can't remember anything hurting that much, but I figured it would go away. I thought I was aging too fast or something, but I guess this happens to a lot of people I couldn't get out of bed by myself so my lovely girlfriend took me to the hospital. I don't like going to the hospital because it's expensive, but this was an intolerable amount of pain which is pretty new to me. I've been hurt badly a lot, but the pain was usually something I could ignore. So I guess I'm on a little vacation from work.
I like the time off though. It's like time away from everything. I've reconnected with myself, and started visiting this site again. All the fear and depression just melted away after I strained my back.
I think a lot can be learned from suffering . . . there's a reason we call them "wisdom teeth".
Whenever I feel pain, I know it's making me stronger. Getting hurt is part of life, and sometimes just getting by is going to hurt a little . . . so take it like a champ!

Well said.. stay strong buddy.. sending you Love and Light feedings .. you'll be ok brother. I think going through pain makes us more resiliant in the long run.. think of the Earth.. its more resiliant than people realise and its gone through hell.
Lower back is the root Chakra which is connected with physical and financial security .. affirm you are completely supported financially and dont worry about money.
Louise Hay, the original pioneer in the field of relating physical symptoms to emotional roots, has been known to attribute back pain to a feeling of being unsupported in life. Different parts of the back lend slightly different emphasis.
Healing the relevant emotional issue will usually heal the physical concern. Bear in mind that this approach deals with feelings, not the actuality of support or lack of support.
According to Louise Hay:
•Lower back pain generally signifies fear of money and lack of financial support.
•Middle back pain is often symptomatic of guilt, feeling “stuck in all that stuff back there” or a person feels pressured and wishes they could tell someone to “get off of my back.”
•Upper back pain often indicates lack of emotional support, feeling unloved, and/or holding back love. (1)
Louise Hay’s affirmations for healing back pain:
•Life supports me. I trust the universe. I freely give love and trust.
•Lower back: I trust the process of life. All I need is always taken care of. I am safe.
•Mid back: I release the past. I am free to move forward with love in my heart.
•Upper back: I love and approve of myself. Life supports and loves me
wrist problems are related to Movement and Ease.
The suggested affirmation is, "I handle all my experiences with wisdom, with love and with ease."
Have a better one bro :)
