Belief is the greatest thing. What you believe defines the
great grand scope of all opportunity.
Ironically then, it is your beliefs that so often hold you
back from things you would otherwise wish to unfold. It is your beliefs that limit your reality.
What ever you can truly believe can come to pass. Having
said that, don’t go out and trade the family farm on a dream just yet. There is a big difference between belief and the hope that rhymes with nope.
I do assert that with complete belief each and every dream
would miraculously come true. However beliefs are slippery little suckers. Like a fish in the sea, as you snatch at them with your hands they can slip away through your fingers.
The trouble is that that for every golden fish there are a thousand silvery piranhas nipping at fingers and fins. It appears that belief is often bound to fear of failure. This fear can itself become a belief, infecting each potential success with disaster.
In addition to your own personal experience, another
powerful disease is the experience of others around you. Whilst it is good to learn from other people’s mistakes, it is bad to learn that their limits must be ours.
To counteract these limitations upon the opportunity offered
by your imagination and belief requires some active effort.
One important action is to make decisions and then take what
may appear to be risks. If it makes sense that what you want is worthwhile, then rather than wishing weakly and waiting, step forward and have a go.
It is smart to construct in your mind small doable steps
towards your greater intent. That way your belief can be built through success.
Another action that helps is to surround your self with
same-minded souls. Those who assert their negativity may be part of the challenge you refute, but those who support with affirmation will be part of the current that carries you forward.
Make a complete commitment to your belief and shoot for the
stars. Once past the clouds there are billions of bright lights.
