No amount of financial remuneration can possible repay a teacher who imparts knowledge.
In order to teach-- first of all the Teacher has to step down from the platform of oneness.
The oneness platform is called In Sanskrit -- Maha Bhagawata the great person----
In order to teach there must be a seperation from a teacher to a student-- otherwise they are in a oneness mode of equality.. The teacher takes the position of the "One with knowlege"
and the student plays a role of receptive and open listener.
There are different ways of listening
and just because one listens doesnt mean they actually hear.
The receiptivity of a cup to liquid is given as an analogy....
A empty clean open cup is the best receiptivity----
The negative aspects of hearing is like a cup full of holes----you can put liquid in but it leaks out and wont stay.....
or a cup with poison in it--- it will hold liquid but the poison makes it toxic and hurtful....
or its a cup turned upside down-- it cant accept water....

One of the strongest and best expressed aspects of this post is that of how one can listen to a message but not fully absorb and understand it. The cup metaphor fits in perfectly as well and does due justice to the explanation. This is a very important message to spread, Eddie. Many thanks! :)

Beautiful poem, Lori. Truly speaks to the soul. :)
Much Love,

Devi,
Meditation does not seem to be for some people but personally, it has changed my Life. The amazing healing light planes that can be accessed and felt in meditation are reason alone to attempt to attune and meditate. That's actually what I've felt meditation to be recently; a graceful attunement to a purely blissful state of consciousness. Meditation is a miracle for humanity!
Much Love,
Wes :)
It's so interesting and synchronistic that you mention the spiritual signifiance of the cup, Eddie. During the etheric travels I've been blessed with, I've noticed that drinking golden liquid out of marble bowls and cups seems to be common. The golden liquid represented pure higher dimensional energy for us to absorb, and I have to agree with what you've said here. The cup holds both a spiritual and celebratory significance.
Much Love!
Wes :)
The cup is an ancient archetypal symbol of love.....
Why?
Whenever people gather together in celebration there is always the drinking from cups the cups hold the wine
the nectar----celebratory liquid which is shared in a type of spiritual communion.
The cup is the holder of love....
Thanks to everyone who is giving posative feedback.....
The tone of openess and kindness is like the receiptive cup...
The water is the emotional feeling and the cup is the receiptivity of love
