The Essenes were an extremely powerful collation of Master souls that almost all of the soul groups of the Law of One incarnated within, in many lifetimes.
According to Edgar Cayce both Mary and Jesus were Essenes, as well as Elijah and Moses . Mount Carmel* in Israel was the original Temple of Elijah and the Essenes.
Elijah's Cave is still venerate on this Holy Powernode. Both the Temple Mount and Mt Carmel were considered as mega vortexial sites that were 'earth navals' even by the Ancient Atlanteans, Egyptians & Greeks.
Pythagoras visited Mt Carmel as well as the other sites in his treks to the Mystery Schools of Egypt & India, as did the Essene Jesua ben Josef.
The Essenes were masters of the etheric disciplines, and were trained through years in all of the Mysteries. They were in a true sense SHAMANIC WISDOM CARRIERS.
Many of the Essene Leaders were female, carrying the energy of the 'Goddess' matriarch. Cayce gives a life reading for a female who was an Essene
Teacher of the child Jesus, as 'Judith'. He said in the reading that she had mastered 'out of body' lucidity and was able to physically bi-locate and be in several places at the same time.

(Q) Please describe the associate membership of the women in the Essene brotherhood, telling what privileges and restrictions they had, how they joined the Order, and what their life and work was like at the time?
(A) This was the beginning of the period where women were considered as equals with the men in their (Essene) activities, in their abilities to formulate, to live, to be channels....

The Essenes were not limited to a single religion, rather they studied all of them in order to extract the great scientific principles and spiritual truths that permeated . They considered each religion to be a different stage of a single revelation.
They accorded great importance to the teachings of the ancient Egyptians, Chaldeans, Zoroaster, Hermes Trismegiste - Thoth) , to the secret instructions of Moses and of the founding Masters of their order who had transmitted techniques similar to those of Buddhism, as well as to the revelation of Enoch (Metatron) and Elijah.
They possessed a living science of all of these revelations. Thus, they knew how to communicate (channel) with angelic beings and had solved the question of the origin of evil (duality aspects) on the earth.
The Essenes were masters of astrology, numerology, alchemy and 'astral travel', having aestic knowledge of multi-dimensionality from the great wisdom schools of Egypt.
The Essenes are intricately connected to the Egyptian Mysteries of and the 'Knowledge of the Pyramids'. The Dead Sea Scrolls' were in fact encased in Egyptian clays urns or vases.
Their Egyptian origin is believed to be with the group called the 'White Brotherhood' a group of wisdom carriers whose initiates wore white robes, and were highly educated in not only the mystical arts, but also healing.

"The Essenes were an advanced and highly evolved group ," Nottingham observes. "Much of their time was devoted to the study of ancient texts, various branches of the healing arts, (and) there were also those who travelled far and wide through the various centers they maintained."
In very modern terms, Nottingham explains how, "Like many of the ancient Gnostic groups, the Essenes believed that humankind was made up of three aspects: the body, mind and emotions."
"The ultimate goal of the individual," he explains, "was the evolution, not only within him or herself, but also in regards to the planet and universe as a whole.
The body was the outer means through which this was expressed, while the mind was seen as the inner manifestation, and creator of thoughts and emotions, which the body then responded to and acted upon.
Thought was therefore considered to be the highest, most powerful force in the universe, as it was seen as the instigator of both feeling and action.
"The Essenes," Nottingham points out, "therefore trained themselves to harness this power in a positive way, knowing that each thought effected the lives of everyone on the planet through the vibrations they sent into the collective unconscious".
The Essenes considered themselves the guardians of the Divine Teaching. They had in their possession a great number of very ancient manuscripts, some of them going back to the dawn of time...to the 'law of One' soul group of Poseida (Atlantis).
A large portion of the initiates spent their time decoding them, translating them into several languages, and reproducing them, in order to perpetuate and preserve this advanced knowledge.
They considered this work to be a sacred task. Yet their main task was self Mastery, and many were considered as savants with the ability to heal, and were masters of the arts of prophesy through astrology and all such mystical forms of alchemy.
