ok, there are many forms of spirits and animal spirits, i'm going to do a seperate post on animal spirits though, right now i'm just letting you know the one's i've encountered!
ok, there is one cheeky little spirit i can't remember what's it's called but if you could see it, he or she would freak you the hell out!
it's not demonic but it looks like it, they are fast moving creature's who flicker through different planes and dimensions so really they can walk through walls but not really, i mean where you see them is when there in your dimension, walking through a room, where as when they get to the wall they change dimensions to a place where the wall isn't actually there at all, they are tortured souls because they can't stick to one dimension or plane, they can if they try hard enough long enough for you to see them if they want you to but very rare!
they have long sharp claw type things for fingers very skinny almost just bone and there more of a shadow, they move extreamly quickly in most cases it's when you see something move in the courner of your eye but nothings there it's usually just one of those passing by!
there as far as i'm aware harmless!
hell-hounds: well there exactly that, they are believed to have come from hell, there soul purpose in life is to tourment and keep track of dark evil souls to keep them evil if that make's sence (in other words a dark soul can turn around afters it's left it's human body and once seen the tourture's try and go good, where that would disrupt the balance, so the need for hell-hounds stands, they can also torture the living on the same princible, they will not physically attack a human unless the human stands between them and the dark soul there looking at taking away, since i lived on a fairy line we had an understanding, if they where curiouse or bored (wich happened a bit -__-) they would want to look through my van and if there was a dark soul they would scare them off and chase them and torture them, wich was fine by me since it meant no dark soul was ever in my presence, i had around 3 or 4 hell-hounds all just as cheeky as the last, there actually quiet pleasant to be around if your not evil or dark lol!
i mean the only problem i ever had with them was when they tried pushing me off the bed -__-
a quick punch to the nose and they got the hint pretty quick :-D
but be warned although they are like any other dog and have the same weakness, if you injure one without good reason or cause, his or her friends will be there and there bloody quick!
there are 3 main type's of spirits (please don't use the word ghost since it's offensive and usually means to haunt!) the good one's i.e light, the bad one's i.e dark and the trouble makers!
the good one's usually learn to co-exist with us or work around us or don't even bother us at all, some even offer protection and loyalty :-D
the bad one's will as i said before haunt you, make scary sounds or turn into horrible looking creature's (wich is more of a shape shift than an actual thing i.e illusion!, and some even raise or throw knife's and attack people!
the trouble makers, there cheeky there funny but sometime's go to far to pull of a practical joke, each one has it's own personality, i.e i class my cameleon shifty as a trouble maker, he hide's things as a game, i.e lighters shirts and even boxers -__- but if it's a bright colour or has a picture of a lizard on it, you most likely won't see it for a while till he gets bored of it lol

animals have souls to, so in turn you can get family pets souls still around or even wildlife is common, usually they just go about thier own buisness but like anything it come's with a scale of good bad and cheeky lol :P
