I'm feeling so inspired by the revolutionaries of the Middle East and Africa. They are some bad ass mother fuckers! I bet most of them aren't Indigos, but they shine brighter than most of us. They're more brave than most of us and they get me thinking, when I grow up, I wanna be like them.
I think that what I admire most is that they don't give into excuses. There is no, "I don't have time to make a difference," or "When I get a job, I'll get involved," or "When I get my ducks in a row..." etc. They just get shit done. Fucking love them!
Bad asses owning and wielding their power!
I think I've figured out why they're willing to go to the limit to get what they deserve. They do it because they don't have what we take for granted. Yeah, we bitch about how bad it is but we haven't done too much. As long as we have a roof over our heads, the interwebs, crap ass reality shows, and the semblance of a functioning democracy, we're comfortable.
They don't have that. They don't have many of the luxuries we take for granted. In essence, we're spoiled and complacent. We tell ourselves it's bad but it's not that bad. And perhaps it's not that bad, but ain't it bad enough? And are we willing to sit back and wait for it to get worse before we do something?
What they remind me of is that giving into fear and excuses are a luxury, not a necessity. It's a luxury we can no longer afford. What is necessary is standing against those who would help keep the world in darkness.
Do what you gotta do.
The world is changing and it's beautiful. As beautiful as the birth of a new life.
And like childbirth, it's messy, bloody and painful, but a beautiful, divine necessity.
Carpe Noctem!
So when I look at them, yeah, I feel unworthy of being an Indigo because they're doing more than I. Instead of Indigos being the teachers, they're teaching Indigos. Didn't see that coming. lol Obviously, we aren't under a dictatorship, but we have issues. Seeing them awakens my sleepy soul and reminds me of why I'm here. They make me want to ride the whirlwind. I want to take the risk, I want to shake shit up, and I'm seriously bored with sitting on the sidelines.
Bored senseless!
I guess I'm not completely on the sidelines, I've been more involved in my community, but the community is still asleep. How does one wake up people in the south? I swear, it's like they've been beaten into submission or something. Too much Glenn Beck, perhaps?
Oh shit, seriously? People seriously listen to this guy? Maybe we are fucked.
Hopefully people will wake up and realize that they deserve far better than this. Anyway, what I like about the revolutionaries is that even though many were afraid, they just did what needed to be done anyway. I think the truth is that most of us will probably never be ready to help make needed change in the world. You just get up and do it despite the fear and insecurities. That's called bravery.
They make me ask the very important question, what am I willing to fight for? What am I willing to die for? What am I willing to live for? They remind me that the Ascension isn't pretty sunshine and flowers. It's gritty, dangerous, beautiful, mad, heart breaking, essential and out of it all, I really do believe the world will be better. And all this time we thought it was gonna be easy! LOL! We thought it just consisted of some flu like symptoms and pms-like mood swings. Damn, we certainly got it wrong there.
Yeah, we were really wrong.
And what's awesome is that they don't even realize that they're helping to usher to a new world. Helping it ascend, evolve to a higher level of integrity. The revolutionaries remind me that there is a place in the universe for that primal, dangerous warrior energy. It destroys the old to make room for the new.
Sometimes it's necessary
Oh yeah, isn't that part of the job of the Indigo? To be systems busters. Well lets take notes from the revolutionaries because they make great teachers.
The ushering in of the Age of Aquarius is looking more like ushering forth of the Age of Aries.
Of course, evolution doesn't have to involve violence. The good thing is that there are a million and one ways to change the world for the better.
That's one way. Personally, my preferences differ.
At the end of the day, what the hell am I gonna do? The revolutionaries got me and many other Indigos looking like pansy asses. Damn, some of us really dropped the ball. So are we gonna get in the game?
Hell yeah!
