Wading in...

There's a LOT of interesting people here. Not in a bad way, of course.

I haven't seen any spacecraft, or seen a ghost, or auras. Nothing "paranormal". But I'm darned interested, or else I wouldn't be here. So, for right now, I would like to give universal greetings.

Question: does anyone have any tips on how to meditate? I can do it, if I focus, letting thoughts drift through my head and letting them go into oblivion. Just want some guidance, something to consider. Also, suggestions on anything else I could look into.
And, if you have questions for me, feel free to ask.

    Unlabeled? o k..... meditation tip number one...... don't meditate, contemplate instead. Find some privacy and quiet if possible and sit in a normal chair, feet on the ground (no need to cross legs or do funny posturing) and take several (5 or so) deep breaths, sit up straight and chant or sing HUUUUU..... Just try to do 20 minutes or so....BUT! do it every day. Make it a part of your life. Don't make the mistake of trying to do it for hours at a time, just consistantly 20 minutes a day, but every day. What your are doing is using your own effort and raising your own voice to put the Holy Spirit onto the field of your life. HU is an ancient name for God. Chanting or singing it with love is actively engaging the Holy Spirit in your life for your and everyone's benifit. Visit eckankar.org if you want to investigate a path of spiritual unfoldment.
