A basic conclusion is at the end for the uninitiated. Here is why the Democratic Party Convention scene in Chicago could go crazy, regardless of the level of security claimed to be provided: the Democrats picked a horrible date per astrology analysis using rules in electional astrology. Rules of electional astrology (for the timing of events during the Renaissance era) called for the following regarding the Moon's placement for the election of the event: (a) the Moon must be as free of affliction as possible (b) the Moon must be in a waxing phase (or increasing in light and approaching Full Moon phase) (c) the Moon must not be in the signs of Libra, Aries, or Capricorn (d) the Moon must not be within 15 degrees of the Nodal Plane (+/-) and (e) the Moon must not be in the Full or New Moon phases (or be within 15 degrees (+/-) of these two phases). Also noteworthy are: (a) Mercury should not be Retrograde and (b) a good luck aspect of the Sun or Moon with Jupiter is a plus. THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CONVENTION OPENING DATE OF AUGUST 19, 2024 VIOLATED A MAJORITY OF THESE RULES. Selecting a Full Moon AND a Mercury Retrograde for a public event concerning politics is simply not smart; I have witnessed public disasters with Full Moons and Mercury Retrogrades. This is because some people can get anxious or emotional during Full Moons and Mercury Retrogrades, and there is a lot of dissonance and disagreement within the Democratic Party at this time. The Chicago Full Moon chart is below; the Full Moon forms a T-Square with Uranus (and these placements become more "hostile" as the end of the work day approaches and Uranus approaches the Descendant area [Ds], known as "the area of open enemies").

The real-time transit of Jupiter Square Saturn is 99% exact, and this is particularly disturbing. I watched a fireworks warehouse in San Francisco blow up during one of these transits, and an earthquake take place at another time during this transit. Security at the convention will be tight, but there is a probability of some sort of physical issue taking place in the environment with Jupiter Square Saturn going on (and also with Uranus near the Descendant as the end of the work day in Chicago  approaches). On a separate note, Kamala Harris may have issues due to the Saturn Opposition Venus transit taking place on her own horoscope (AND during this Full Moon). If you are wondering why Kamala Harris is dodging the media, I suspect it may be due to astrology advice she may (or may not) be getting. Kamala Harris was born with a natal Venus placement at 17 degrees Virgo 53 minutes, and the current transit of Saturn Opposition Venus is strong. This transit usually defines a time-frame when it is not good to make new friends and it is actually a good time to be isolated from others. This is perplexing to me: if being isolated from others during a Saturn Opposition Venus transit is being recommended to Kamala Harris (and is actually working well for her at this time), then what the hell is Kamala Harris going to do during a DNC Convention on 08/19/24 with a 08/19/24 transit of Venus Conjunction Venus taking place (while Saturn Opposition Venus is still strong) as this Venus return takes place and calls for a need for more friendship? The Saturn Opposition Venus transit (during this Venus return) may thus define a time-frame for Kamala Harris as "an absence of friends," or "an inability to make new friends." This is not a good time for seeking votes.

Conclusion

The aspects affecting the Full Moon on August 19, 2024 and transits to the horoscope of Kamala Harris (also on August 19, 2024) suggest this may not be a good opening date for the 2024 Democratic National Convention AND for Kamala Harris. There is a real possibility of inner party conflict and possible private emotional outbursts; Full Moons are notorious for revealing such private activity because a Full Moon "lights up the dark areas of the night that nobody can see during the night." Mercury Retrograde is notorious for miscues in communication, and being misunderstood is something you don't want if you are trying to get votes. Therefore, the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago may feature numerous problems concerning communications and relations within the Democratic Party, along with a possibility of intense conflicts (physical or non-physical) regardless of the amount of security present. Kamala Harris may have a difficult time in Chicago.
