to be inauthentic,
not authentic enough
to really be cool.
Not hard enough an alcoholic
to kick it with the addicts,
not natural enough a person
to be embraced by nature.
Not maimed enough
to hang out with the disfigured,
not pretty enough
to be seen with the beautiful.
Not enough of a human
to mesh well with the grid plains of Terra,
not enough of an alien
to remember where I really come from.
Not quite dead enough
to be silent forever,
not quite alive enough
to be proclaimed dead.
Being a wierdo is a full time job:
You live from limbo to limbo
just like a little kid.
