Where do Masters live?August 18th, 2010QUESTION: Masters, I want to ask you, is there really any place where masters live? What do they do in our life? ~ Soniya, IndiaANSWER: The simple answer is anywhere and everywhere. The majority of us are exclusively in our soul form. Everyone’s soul form is energetic and a part of the universal life force connective. Most of us do not choose to take a form similar to a human body so that we are free to be everywhere at once. When you take a body, you are stuck using a great deal of your energy to maintain that form so it is visible to others. Without such restriction we are free.Certain of us Masters have a particular place on Earth—usually where we spent a lot of time while incarnate—which we frequent with our energy signature. This may be referred to as a “seat,” or sometimes “retreat.” Our energy is detectable at these locations to those humans who are sensitive, and our focus remains near so that we can immediately hear and respond to any request. This is really immaterial, though, because we can be felt at any place, by anyone, simply by being summoned to assist.We are, first and foremost, guides to help you experience your life lessons while on Earth. Each of us has mastered some or all of the various categories of lessons (physical emotions) that are peculiar to Earth. We will not tell you what to do but will help you see your choices. We cannot, however, do this without being asked for assistance. I have been employed, never having my own practice. There is always the same cycle to my work. I start, everything is rosy, they start taking advantage of me, and the working environment gets so hostile after a while that I quit and move on. This is happening again. I became really ill and have had surgery a few times because of this pattern, and now I am to have surgery again after having had the last one only months ago. I am starting to think that my profession is not what I am intended to do and that is why I always experience the same negative outcome. I start to think that something is severely wrong with me because I am afraid I will fail if I start my own practice. As my health is rapidly declining, I really need to know what I am doing wrong, and what I can do to correct this before I get so ill that I will be permanently damaged. ~cc, GermanyANSWER: You are a magnificent soul, a piece of Source that has all the properties of Source. Your illness is your barometer of accomplishment and success. When you get to a position where you should take hold of the reins and move on, you stick in the saddle and ride that wild horse for fear of the unknown. You do not want to assume responsibility for your life.You figure that as long as you are an employee you will be protected. Problem is, you are easily a better healer than anyone for whom you have ever worked. They become jealous of your skills and connection to your patients, and as their patients fall off, they start to use you for their own profit, while they step back and work you like a pack mule. Your constant illnesses are the result—your body is speaking out whenever you are afraid to take action or hesitate to depend on yourself.You do not need the recurring medical problems if you will merely make your own decisions about the rest of your life. You are fantastic at what you do, but—freedom of choice—you can throw it all away just because you are afraid to be responsible for your own practice.If you put a fraction of the effort into your own business that you have done in all the others, you will be fabulously successful. Think of all the people you have helped who could not get help from other means. Be your own patient. I am now grown up, married with 2 young girls, and work part time as a health practitioner. I have been shown that a part of my being struggles with being fully responsible for my life. I see that many of the children don’t want to take responsibility for their lives (I assume it is because they are not ready), but many of the adults don’t either. What exactly does it mean to be fully responsible for our lives? How much responsibility do I take for the lives of others? When do we as humans reach an age that we could take responsibility for our lives? ~Annick, AustraliaANSWER: Responsibility is something that all humans say they want but few really want at all. Children can’t wait to grow up, adolescents can’t wait to get a driver’s license, students can’t wait to finish school, but then reality sinks in.When each phase of life is reached it comes with its own responsibilities. Children are no longer waited on hand and foot and have to face the consequences of their decisions. The driver must pay for fuel and insurance and obey a book full of laws in order to drive. Once school is over, the search for employment begins, and then the day-to-day grind of being under someone’s thumb starts.Responsibility is totally assuming consequences for each and every choice you make in life. For most people it is unthinkable to seek such a task. It is so much better to allow someone else to make decisions for you, because then when things don’t turn out the way you want, it is not your fault but rather theirs.The process of choosing to give your choices to another is allowing them to have power over you—almost like saying that you trust them to make better decisions than you could because they know more about you than you do yourself. It’s kind of a crazy proposition, but a seemingly safe one when you don’t want to regret what you have done.The problem with the above process is that you never grow in understanding of life or the lessons you came here to experience. You are just a game piece on the board of life instead of being the player directing the pieces. When are you ready to call the shots? Whenever you start gathering the facts about a situation and making the decisions all on your own. It can be at any stage in the human process that you have enough confidence to make the choices.
