White string of light? what is it?

Hey guys, my girlfriend took this picture a few months back and there was nothing in the picture. But she only looked at it again about 2 days ago and this string of light appeared in it. I spoke to my mum about the picture and she said it could possibly be a light portal? Can anyone help me understand what this could be? 

ps excuse the picture of me, i know it's kind of strange haha
