Several decades ago Astrid Lindgen conceived of the Nordic Countries´answer to Godzilla.
Since then the rest of the world has been paying more and more attention and showing a growing fascination with nordic and scandinavian monsters. The biggest of them would undoubtly be Katla. But it´d not be the kind of Katla Astrid Lindgen visualized. No. It´d be our native Icelandic Katla.
Imagine a vociferous dragon who could swallow Godzilla in whole and smash Katla with her tail. Katla was visualized by me several days and months ago with the intent to produce the Queen of the Monsters.
I succeeded.
Needless to say people have been wondering if natural disasters of a similarly large scale would require the world´s governments to form a singular state.
The answer is clearly no. Here´s why.
Let´s say that Katla erupted and out of the volcano´s crater came this enormous dragon and began to eat anything in her path and burn whatever else remains.
There wouldn´t be any time to form a one world government anyway. We´d all stand united under the same threat so why form a one world government?
No. We´d stand together no matter what - and probably have little other options left than fleeing. Below is an image of Katla engaged in a battle against U.S. military aircraft and you´ll begin to realize why nobody´d think of forming a one world government in such a situation. Because in such a situation - while it´d be considered extremely unlikely to take place - everyone is thinking about staying alive. Trying to restore order is secondary. Not primary. Survival is primary.I decided to add more images of the Queen of the Monsters to give people some ideas about her gargantual size and ferocuious power. Some of these images show her battling against Godzilla and you can clearly see who´s in charge.
