Think about it...........its not a modern invention....
It is the attachment to selfish ends and possesions that is the real problem.-
Just because one person wants to really work hard..
if they desire some particular thing or desire.....
and another wants to just bang on the drum all day cause its easier for them....
that is the reward of effort..
Is effort wrong?
Should we sit like birds on a branch and wait for food to fall in our mouth?
The problem is far far beyond the selfish desire for acheivements and possesions.
The trouble is the selfishness.
The grinding mills of the grains of time work exceedingly fine
Each one is rewarded according to their past deeds.
The future will be detremined by what we all do now.
Can you cleanly sacrifice for the service to others without the need for personal recognition?
