I cannot speak on the "crystal" children as I have not seen, felt, nor heard anything other then very subjective personal opinions on it. Indigo's, on the other hand, have a much more tangible beginning.
Nancy Ann Tappe, literally coined the term and was the one responsible for the indigo phenomenon as we know it. She regretted not fighting the misinformation and false prophets on the subject and wrote a book called Indigo: The quiet storm before she died.
Literally nearly every person born from the late 60's until this moment, are born as indigo, when an Indigo and an indigo make a baby, it still an Indigo. "Indigo's" was a term coined due to a particular part of our aura called our life color, as Nancy saw it, outlining our mission, purpose, and lessons in life.
